With this in mind we are firmly committed to Greener Tourism. Our positive actions will hopefully encourage others to join this commitment and we believe it is our responsibility to undertake the following actions for sustainability.
These key areas will be consistently monitored and assessed as we progress. Please support us where possible.
• Our boilers have been replaced with high energy efficient versions
• Saving energy by slowly replacing all of our light bulbs with energy saving bulbs, turning off heating and air conditioning when not needed and constantly energy monitoring. All electrical appliances are turned off when not in use.
• Saving water: all of our toilets are low flush and our urinals are energy censored. We also encourage our guests to re-use towels where possible to reduce laundry.
• We are partnering with suppliers who are committed to our goals and implementing Green incentives for guests and businesses who share our vision.
• Recycling all glass, paper and cardboard and giving unwanted furniture to local charities.
Please see our Responsible Visitor Charter for further details on how you can help us make a difference.
