My family stays at hotels several times a year, and this by far was the worst. We should have had our first clue when we drove up and there were only a few cars in the parking lot. My husband checked us in and then we were told there were no elevators. We opened the door to the room on the second floor and there was a distinct odor. My husband tried to tell us it was a type of cleaner. Yuck! There were so many stains on the couch that I was afraid to sit on it. The bathroom needs a complete overhaul. When you look up, the ceiling isn't even finished. My husband tried to tell us that we were only going to be there to sleep and it was fine. I then saw two bugs walking across the bedspread and that was it. We were out of there!

"Not a good place to stay"

I coordinated 12 rooms for our softball team to stay at this hotel over the Memorial Day weekend. When our team showed up, the rooms were not in good condition. One room was a converted conference room that had a gap at the bottom of the door that you could see under and the furniture was in poor shape. A second room had bugs and was very run down. I was told that the place was renovated but I'm not sure what that could be exactly. We had to move 9 of the 12 rooms to a different hotel. The staff acted not very surprised that we wanted to move, as no attempt to accommodate us or fix the problems were attempted. This is one hotel that needs either a total renovation or just close. I definitely won't stay here ever.

I was very impressed with the staff, and everything I could have wished for was provided. You gave me an upgrade to the suites, which was a wonderful experience. Breakfast food was good, the hot tub hot, the bed comfortable. I plan to go to this Quality Inn and Suites every year when I do the KC Children's Therapeutic Center 5k.

$450 Group Guarantee Deposit Requirements: All Group Guestrooms as well Banquet or meeting functions group reservations must require a Non-refundable $450.00 minimum Guarantee charges to hold groups into our PMS System of the Hotel, which are hold as a Key person's Credit Card Hold, which is applied only if the Group reservation cancels or minim individual guest rooms bookings are not made prior to the cut-off date on group reservations. Conveniently located at SW corner of Exit 12, I-70 and Noland Rd., convenient to all the best of Kansas City, Independence & Blue Springs has to offer. Our hotel features a beautiful courtyard with fountains, an Indoor pool and also an Outdoor Pool with Gazebo. Our indoor pool area features a dry sauna, fitness room, and hot tub. Our free breakfast includes Free Hot Full Breakfast with waffles, eggs, sausages, biscuits with sausage gravy and a selection of pastries and fruits, Juices, Milk & cereals and other items.
