Recently renovated, in 2011, the comfortable, very spacious suites with their vivid colors, country-style furniture and the staff's instinctive hospitality create a chic and cosy atmosphere for our visitors' retreat.Named after the sand lilies native to the Mediterranean seashores, the Water-Lily is situated in the sea-side village of Kalathas, well away from the bustle of the city and yet only 10klm from the infamous town of Chania. Discover Crete and indulge your senses in the renowned local cuisine (Mediterranean Diet) of the small tavernas nearby, in wine tasting with experienced wine-makers and in the unique combination of Byzantine, Venetian and Ottoman architecture of the Akrotiri's old monasteries and Chania's magnificent Venetian Harbor... As Chania is a blessed and privileged place with a mild climate during the entire year, countless beauties, and all kinds of attractions, the Water-Lily offers accommodation to its guests not only in the summer but also in the winter. The reception area is accessible from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. (unless our guests have late arrivals) and free Internet access (WI-FI) is available on a 24hour basis in all suites.
