In the early morning and evening time there are deers, kangaroos and wallabies passing through the property. We are also within walking distance of shops and restaurants. In fact, it is only a walking distance of 6 minutes to 8 delightful restaurants and craft shops in Olinda, and a further 10 minutes to the National Rhododendron Gardens and the challenging Olinda Golf Course. Also in close proximity are several fantastic picnic areas, including our own beautiful established gardens - the perfect place to relax with a gourmet hamper. You may want to use this hideaway as your base for an exploration of the Yarra Valley wineries or a trip through the mountains on the famous Puffing Billy steam train and the delightful restaurant carriages. The tower sits atop massive, curved, hand cut sandstone walls with craftsman built 16th century curve panelling and the tower ceiling is a round marque balloon of silk with filtering stain glass top window. The tower is featured with timber bridge entrance. Penthouse Suite:A Class Of Its Own, The Penthouse is a private exclusive building with its own remote control two car garage and entrance for total privacy and security. A magnificent craftsman built large spiral staircase, built around a tree trunk effect, leads to your solid teak dining room, bedroom and balcony with views all the way to Melbourne lights, Port Phillip Bay and the You Yang's at sunset, this is a must.Sandstone Suite:A large single storey building featuring open plan living space, superbly detailed ceilings, cornices and sandstone walls. One of Australia's finest craftsman built French Bed. The suite has its own full length king size spa with a quarter view of Melbourne and Doongalla forest.Garden Suite:The Garden Suite offers practical accommodation and has proven to be popular as an overnight stay and for family groups. It can sleep six if required. Bedroom one, as shown below, has its own full ensuite plus large wardrobes. It has views of Doongalla forest and the Melbourne city lights. If required a second bedroom is available at an additional cost. This bedroom is slightly smaller but has the same views and a large bathroom. A further sofa bed room is available at an extra cost.

Amenities / Features

All accommodations has a complimentary continental breakfast ingredients (two types of jams, butter, margarine, cheeses and biscuits, muesli bars, cereals, orange juice, apple juice, milk, coffees, chocolate drinks, teas, in the fridges and pantry that guests can help themselves with. Full cook breakfast (choice of bacons and eggs or smoke salmon and eggs etc.) is inclusive in rates except in certain accommodation/s and days (please contact for further infos). If cook breakfast is required the cost will be $8.00 per person.
