Property Description

The Bodega Bay Lodge is located one hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge along the spectacular Sonoma Coastline. Overlooking Bodega Bay Harbor and the spectacular green bluffs of Bodega Head, the Bodega Bay Lodge is just a stones throw away from Doran Beach and the neighboring Links at Bodega Harbour, a championship Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed course.When purchased in 1972, the Lodge was a 36-room motel with rooms renting for $12. While the rooms included kitchenettes, the biggest selling point was the setting: a gently sloping hillside overlooking bird-filled marshes, flower-covered dunes and pristine beaches of the Sonoma County coast.The lodge’s original rooms were redesigned and rebuilt and another 42 rooms and suites were added, bringing the total to 79. In 1999, five ultra-deluxe Ocean Club Suites and a full-service spa were added as a new wing of the Lodge, bringing the entire room count to 84 and bringing the concept of the “spa resort” to Bodega Bay.Accommodations: Guests to the Bodega Bay Lodge enjoy beautifully appointed guestrooms that feature panoramic views, private balconies or terraces, fireplaces, wet bars and stocked refrigerators, plush terry-cloth robes, in-room coffee makers, large tile baths, in-room On Command movie systems and 1 king or 2 queen beds topped with European-style duvets.The Ocean Club Suites feature an extensive list of in-room amenities rivaled only by the breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape.
