Property Description

Liberty Mountain Resort is nestled in Carroll Valley Pennsylvania near the scenic Catoctin Mountains. Just 8 miles southwest of historic Gettysburg and 5 miles north of Emmitsburg MD the resort is convenient from both the Baltimore Maryland and Washington DC metro areas as well as all of south central Pennsylvania. Our hotel offers all the amenities you deserve. You will appreciate the tastefully decorated guest rooms and the beautiful mountain setting. Whether you plan your visit for a ski vacation golf getaway corporate retreat a wedding or just a quiet getaway you will find that Liberty Mountain Resort has much to offer. Any time of year you can enjoy historic Gettysburg in the summer you can play a round of golf at our 18 hole championship course Carroll Valley at Liberty Mountain or just relax by the pool and enjoy the clean mountain air. Located on 275 beautiful acres the resort offers over 32000 square feet of multifunctional meeting space. Rooms range from the well-appointed Hearthstone conference room to the spacious Overlook Ballroom featuring a stone fireplace and mountain -golf views. The main lodge also features a three-tiered deck for outdoor gatherings. The backside of the mountain features Boulder Ridge log style lodge which in the summer is ideal and for both weddings and corporate retreats and is home in the winter to 15 lanes for snow tubing. The on-site hotel is open year around and offers 116 comfortable guest rooms including several suites. With multiple venues of various sizes and our exceptional catering service accommodations can be arranged for most any style event. The Liberty Mountain Hotel offers king and double guestrooms which include cable TV and private voice-mail. Our luxury suite features a living area bar top and jetted tub. Guests enjoy a hot breakfast with their stay. From Memorial Day through Labor Day we offer a large outdoor swimming pool. Indoors you will find a beautiful salt water pool.
