We stayed here recently for one night and the staff were all very nice and accommodating. Our room was plenty spacious with a semi separated sitting area. It was obvious that the hotel had experienced a relatively recent update and it was well done. The room came with a microwave and mini fridge, not that we need them on this particular trip but it was nice to know they were there. The bed was firmer than I prefer and the pillows were too soft, but we were so tired it didn't matter.
On a side note, I think it's great that more and more hotels are getting flat screen TVs (and this was probably one of the largest I've seen in a hotel room) but it would be nice if they truly took advantage of them by subscribing to HD channels. I know, I know...I wasn't there to watch TV but still.
The continental breakfast had standard fair - scrambled eggs, melon, sausage, etc. They also had 2 waffle irons, though I was surprised there wasn't any nonstick spray on hand. The 2 people before me had to pick their waffles out in pieces, but for some reason my waffle popped right out fully intact. I was tired so it didn't dawn on me to ask for the spray at the time so maybe it was simply forgotten.
I'm not sure if I'll be back in the area but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. « less

My wife and I have used this hotel several times in recent years and I first reviewed this property a couple of years ago. On our most recent stay we found some updates had been made that made our stay even better than before. We found the new flat screen TV, with a larger screen than usually found in hotel rooms, was a plus. Although I was not sure about the mattress, we did notice that new bedding was very attractive as well as functional. The lighting in our room also had been updated and the rooms were brighter than before.
We continue to find the staff very helpful and the breakfast is pretty much the same as most hotels of this class, but the availability of china and regular eating utensils (not plastic) enhance the breakfast experience.
We will continue to stay here when we have the opportunity. « less

This hotel was easy to find, comfortable and quiet, even for a Saturday night. Our room was a private King suite, which was very spacious and featured the largest flat screen TV we have ever had in a hotel room. The bed linens and pillows were luxurius and extremely confortable.
We were tired travelers and therefore skipped the pool and hot tub. The front desk clerk was very helpful with suggestions for local restaurants.
The continental breakfast consisted of a diverse selection of hot entrees including scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles, in addition to fruit, cereals, pastries, and several coffees and juices. The quality of the food was better than we have typically found in similar hotel continental breakfast offerings.
For a short drive north of Madison, this hotel is comfortable, quiet and considerably less expensive than similar hotels within the Madison city limits. « less

Full amenities at a great value. I stayed here for five nights. Expected a continental breakfast but had waffles, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit each morning. The staff were professional and responsive. The rooms were clean with fresh linens. TV in the bathroom as well as the sleeping area was a plus.We were surprised by the salt water pool, the extra goodies in the kids pool and the very large hot tub. Only 20 minutes to downtown so relaxing in the country was nice. Try taking the county road to get there instead of the interstate! « less
