A visit to Dallas Recapped

Image is almost everything, at least in Dallas. The city's newest districts show an admirable desperation to be on the cusp of trends rather than following the masses. However, the city has the evidences that effortlessly back up its persona.there are a lot of booming businesses, homegrown success stories, and an evolving emphasis for the arts. A lot of tourists associate with Dallas primarily due to the city's enduring legacy as President John F. Kennedy's assassination site. But for the past 25 years, Dallas accepted its historical role and took on perfecting a role to charm and entertain its visitors. The new Victory Park and The Metroplex, flashy and glitzy with pubs, shopping places, and nightlife, are Dallas' newest entertainment districts. The Arts District has been recently redeveloped, with 4 Pritzker Prize-winning architects responsible for the architectural landscape. The Dallas Museum of Art remains one of the city's main attractions, built along an avenue of limestone galleries. Guests can be a witness to Victory Park's hockey games and big-name concerts, be an accomplice of Deep Ellum's nightlife scene, and be guilty of shopping at Neiman Marcus, West Village, or Galleria. Whatever the choice, everyone is always given the freedom to choose their verdict.

'It's Texas where I truly feel at home, and it's Dallas where I want to be buried. That just about does it.

George W. Bush, 43rd President of the United States, is a man who's known as being quintessentially southern in outlook and attitude. Texas is his home-ground and in Dallas he started and forged his political career, much like his father.

There are quite a few reasons why people from the south are often passionate about their home towns. Not getting ourselves into murky waters of the Civil War history, it must still be said that the kind of life people down south live is to be found in no other place. From cultural variety to linguistic idiosyncrasies, and from great food to even greater music, Dallas has truly become a regional hub for tourism, putting on display all the things that the south is known worldwide for.

I took side trips to the Fair Grounds and enjoyed the Texas Discovery Gardens and Butterfly house. The gardens and butterfly house provide education on the life of butterflies and entomology. I also attended the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital Treasure Street fundraiser. They are the No. 1 hospital in the nation for pediatric orthopedic care, according to U.S. News & World Report.

I used to live in Dallas and I absolutely miss it tremendously. I love to return there occasionally to visit my daughter and son-in-law. The grandchildren have gone to college and are now out of Dallas, but I love the city of Dallas. It's just so beautiful so many wonderful things to do so much incredible shopping. I was staying at the graduate long before it was the graduate. It was the Lumen and I always look forward to my stay there always so friendly comfortable the nicest people ever and still the nicest people ever so helpful and thoughtful. It was a wonderful three days.
