Coral Sea Resort is nestled on the edge of the magnificent Great Barrier Reef and the 74 Island wonders that surround it.Located on the mainland in Airlie Beach, we are within a 25 minute drive to the two local airports and ferry terminals that deliver you to the breathtaking sands of Whitehaven beach. The resort town of Airlie Beach is a 300 metre flat stroll to 30 restaurants, bars and eclectic resort shopping.Access to Coral Sea Resort is via "Whitsunday Coast Airport" (Proserpine) & Hamilton Island Airport.Leading Airlines, Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Tigerair offer direct flights daily from most major cities to Proserpine Airport. From Proserpine there is a 25 minute transfer to Coral Sea Resort, transfers can be booked through the hotel.Hamilton Island Airport is serviced daily by Qantas Business Class, Virgin Australia and Jetstar from all major centres, direct flights are available from both Sydney and Brisbane.
