Hickory Pond Inn is a haven for University of New Hampshire guests, business folk, small conferences, reunions, weddings, special functions and is a favorite destination for Seacoast Area vacationers. We offer comfortable, clean rooms and spread out space to relax, at affordable prices. We are ideally situated, just 5 minutes from Durham and the University of New Hampshire, and 15 minutes to Portsmouth with its renowned restaurants and theatre. A little farther away are the famous outlet malls of Kittery, Maine. To the northwest, the White Mountains are only a short distance away. Located on 35 acres, our property has lots of trails and fresh air for guests to enjoy. There is also a 2.2 mile walking or jogging route along quiet country roads. This charming breakfast Inn offers the best of both worlds; combining historic charm with all the modern day comforts. Guest can choose from a variety of individually appointed rooms. All rates include a Continental Breakfast offering of fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, juices, gourmet coffee and our tea table. The ten rooms in the original part of the Inn date back to circa 1783, each with its own unique character and in our more recent addition are eight more rooms. All of our rooms offer air conditioning, Cable TV, telephone and High Speed Internet Access. We also have ample parking. Long term stays are welcome and are based on a monthly rate. For business or pleasure, Hickory Pond Inn guests may also enjoy our adjacent Hickory Pond Golf Course which is one of the most picturesque and challenging par three courses in New England. With cross country skiing and ice skating in winter, theres never a shortage of things to do around Hickory Pond. We are a non smoking Inn but have an outside golf porch area for those who do. We are also pet friendly and accept well behaved dogs.
