What to say? The staff tried their best but seemed to really struggle with questions like "Do you have a tin opener I could borrow?" or "Is Easter a public holiday". It was very tatty around the edges but essentially clean. Inclusive breakfast was a donut and coffee. For around the $50 mark it's more than acceptable and as a base for accessing Congaree National Park it is perfect as it's right on interstate 26 and about 20 minutes from the park entrance. Perfect for a budget one night stay but avoid if you are picky. « less

They called this a hotel. It is sad. I was stunned when I walked in the door and looked at the chairs that were in the room & I almost became ill. One of the chairs looked like an animal had slept on it then tried to eat it. Honestly it was so late almost midnight & I was just to tired to even worry about leaving. My husband wanted to sleep in the car. To say this facility was dated is not even close to accurate. The price could not keep me there. I realize that if I were home my bowl of oats, a donut & a glass of milk is now a continental breakfast. I can not comment if they had a fitness center & I do not think they had a restaurant. I want to know where the cute clean rooms were « less

We stayed here for 3 nights. August 14-17, 2012. It was a clean and cute place. We enjoyed the free breakfast. We also had fun swimming in the outdoor pool....

We stayed here for 3 nights. August 14-17, 2012. It was a clean and cute place. We enjoyed the free breakfast. We also had fun swimming in the outdoor pool. We were the only ones swimming in it that day. They even gave us a towel to use while we were swimming which was nice. The manager Steve was very helpful and nice. If you drive to the right of the motel you will see alot of great eatting places in the area. The gas prices are great there too, we saw it as low as $3.33 a gallon. We thought this was great. We were here in the area to go to Fort Jackson. I would highly recommend this great motel. The trees with the flowers on them are just beautiful too. We had a microwave and refri in our room too. Outside the door was a grill too. :) :) :) Happy We Are! « less

I checked in late one night, and the front desk staff was very welcoming and suggesting a restaurant down the street that was still open. However, when I checked in the room, I realized that I had been given a king bed when I requested two doubles. I called the front desk and the desk clerk apologized and sent an employee with keys to another room, so I didn't have to take my whole family back to the lobby. We enjoyed our two night stay, and the kids loved the pool. We will definitely stay again - Great value! « less
