The hotel is clean and nice, but nothing extra. Breakfast is ok, not great. The staff is very friendly and helps out with watever you want. Hotel is 2-star but the neighbourhood makes it a 3! It's located in an old part of paris with a square close by with a lot of good restaurants. « less

We stayed for 5 nights (april 17-21). The breakfast room is cramped, but had coffee, juices, fruit, yogurt, croissants, cold cuts, pastries, cereal to fill us up to start the day. Only one block from the metro (Plac Monge) on a street with many restaurants and cafes up and down the location. There was a market every other day right at the square of the metro stop that was fun to see and shop. Our room was compact, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and the shower was great ! A very good value since we never plan on spending much time in the hotel--just to sleep (bed was comfortable) and shower. Great location ! « less

It is worst experience in our travels history for staying in this hotel. Not only the hotel hardware, but some of front desk and the manager (he called himself the owner) are definitely horrible. We booked 4 nights in this hotel and checked-in a room with very unpleasant smell in early April. The smell became terrible in the next morning as if you were in a sewage collection house. We asked front desk to change a room, but got the answer of no room is available. Since we prepaid the room, they won’t give us the rest of money back if we check-out earlier. We have been told to stay in one more day then switch to another room. With trying our best to block all drains in the bathroom, we barely survived one more night. Next day we went to front desk to change the room. They told us if we change room we have to pay extra. After urged this with the story of previous day, we finally got the chance to move into another room. When we came back to our room in the evening, we found someone dropped dirty underwear on the bed. We finally reached the manager to tell him the story and sought the explanation. Guess what, he only said he knew nothing. He never offered any apology and not even a single word of “Sorry”. He refused to admit anything, include the sewage smell. He refused to check all these out by himself as I suggested. Don’t let his hotel ruin your vacation. « less

This is a nice hotel in a lovely part of town. We stayed three nights. Location is excellent; just 1 block away from the Metro, and a 5min walk to the mainline RER station for CDG. We were just a few minutes walk from the Pantheon and Notre Dame. For the evening you needn't venture far as the are lots of bars and restaurants on Mouffetard to choose from. The room was small but take it for what it is; a place to sleep and have a wash. Although, it did get excessively hot at night even with the heating off and our room had only a patio door as a means of ventilation. And breakfast will cater for most. All the staff were friendly and helpful and there's 24hr reception. Overall, very satisfied. « less
