My wife and I stayed at the Pelham in late March, 2013. Both desk clerks were absolutely awesome. We were never disappointed with the directions and advice given. Both, the white fellow and the black fellow were so accommodating and polite we were sad to leave. At one point I had finished a paperback and dropped it of at the front desk for someone else to enjoy. No one was there at that moment so I left it and went out. Later I was looking for some cash I had 'hidden' away and could not find it. I dawned on me that I had slipped $250 into the book. I called down to the front desk and asked the clerk if he found any money in the book. He said, "Just a minute", then came back on to say, "in between pages 232 and 233 is your money". It was so much of a relief and I wonder how many clerks would have been so honest. It would have been so easy to deny any money was there. It is obvious by both of the clerks' attitudes that they enjoyed working for the Pelham. We would not hesitate to stay there again if we come to New Orleans. A week later we stayed elsewhere because the Final Four NCAA Women's Finals were being held and the Pelham was fully booked. We were not impressed with the next hotel at all. Our respect and appreciation of both the Pelham and its staff will be told by us to others that may come down that way. Thank you. « less

If you're looking for a luxury hotel with amenities, this is not it. We found it very quaint in keeping with the New Orleans atmosphere which was what we were looking for. It's in a great location a block from the casino, 2 blocks from the waterfront area, 1 block from streetcar, bus, etc. We didn't need our car. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We booked several months in advance and paid a little less that $200 a night for a king room for 2 adults and 1 child second week of jazzfest. The room we were given was second smallest with king bed and no room to walk around or sleep a 3rd person. We were able to exchange into a slightly larger room with a queen which we kept although we were told we could try to exchange to one with windows on Sunday or Monday. Neither room had windows. We were told that if we had called and requested a window we would have gotten one. Didn't know that before hand. Assumed they all had windows from the photos we looked at. We didn't have that 3rd person with us. I was amazed at how quiet it was and we were near the elevator. Beds ok. My husband wasn't comfortable but I was ok. TV worked great, but the WIFI kept cutting off on me. No coffee maker or refrigerator was a big drawback. Had to go down to the lobby. Coffee was good though. Room for most part was clean, but dark. Some things needed to be dusted. Didn't get into the Ruby Slipper. We tried 3 times but the lines were too long for us. The valet service was quick & took good care of our van. I would probably stay at this hotel again, but not at the prices we paid. Overall had a wonderful time in New Orleans. « less

We had a wonderful time staying at the Pelham hotel for jazzfest. Troy at the front desk was awesome and so accommodating! Comfortable, no frills hotel. But who needs frills when your in the lovelist city in america! Plus the Hotel was in a GREAT location. About a 5 minute walk to Burbon street and the french quarter. Amazing brunch place was right next door- Ruby Slippers. Get the egg Cochon, to die for. Only complaint was that the windows didn't open... but we were very happy with our stay. « less

My daughters and I stayed here for two nights before embarking on a cruise. It also just happened to be the first week of Mardi Gras. This hotel is tucked away on a side street, but is about three short blocks from the French Quarter. The room was fairly small, but with a very high ceiling. It was beautifully furnished, as was the whole hotel. We were very comfortable during our stay, and the staff showed genuine southern hospitality. We did get some street noise wafting up from the street on the Friday before we left, but as I said, it was the first week of Mardi Gras, and that would have happened anywhere. I will definitely stay here again when I return to New Orleans! « less

We stayed at The Pelham for the second weekend of Jazz Fest, and we were not disappointed! The staff at reception were friendly and helpful, the room was a good size, clean, comfortable and quiet. We had a corner room, so plenty of windows. The location is great, just a few minutes' walk from the French Quarter, and also handy for the Streetcars. My only criticism would be the lack of coffee or tea-making facilities in the room. We'd stay at the Pelham again! « less

"It was great. We had searched for rooms on our own and were unsuccessful. Thank you for a spectacular service!" H.B. - Long Island, NY
"Bob responded very promptly and the booking process went very well. They answered all our questions and offered the rooms we needed at the price they quoted. It was a very efficient way of finding a hotel for our group. You have been excellent to deal with. I have already referred your company to another teacher in our school. Thank you for being so helpful and following up on everything!!" G.W. - Cleveland, OH
