This was our first stay at this location. Check-in was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean and well kept. The room was spacious, had a microwave and refrigerator; and the bed linens and furniture were clean and smelled fresh. There are plenty of restaurants and stores/malls within walking distance. My only complaint would be the entertainment in the lounge both Friday and Saturday night (a karaoke DJ) both nights were boring and drab. « less

I've stayed in this hotel on two separate occasions and did not have a pleasant experience either time. First I must say that there have been some nice updates to the hotel which are pleasing to the eye. The decor and bathrooms look very nice. The bathtub has some sort of overlay to make it look new, but it feels rather weird under your feet when you shower. The bathrooms are also very small and very difficult to function in when trying to shower or use the restroom. The washcloths and towels were rough and very thin. Bath and Body Works toiletries were provided.
My problem was trying to sleep. I could not find a comfortable temperature. I was either too hot or too cold. The heater was one of those wall units under the window. It was loud and very disturbing when trying to sleep. I had this problem in two different rooms on two separate occasions. I tried turning it off completely, but then I became cold and also had a musky odor in the room without it running. I was up all night turning the heat up and then turning it down. They put me in a room next to road that runs behind the hotel. That was also a little noisy, but not terrible. The wireless internet service was a great bonus and I had no trouble with a slow connection or interruptions in service. It was pretty fast and user friendly.
The front desk provided a quick check-in and check-out. My room was ready when I arrived. They were very kind and helpful. Overall, the hotel was clean and pleasant. My room was clean and my bed linens appeared clean and fresh. There were several pillows on each bed and a refrigerator in my room for evening snacks.
The restaurant was very nice and the staff were very kind. I had breakfast at their buffet on both stays. It wasn't wonderful food, but I was able to find something I liked. They had scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, sausage and biscuits, cereal, fruit, yogurt cups, and milk. That's all I can remember.
The hotel is in a nice location and near plenty of businesses and restaurants. I felt it was in a safe location as well. « less

This was the first time I have stayed at this Holiday Inn. Anything you wanted was within arms reach of this hotel. From food to shopping. The property was well kept and the decor was up to date. The staff was very friendly. Microwave and fridge in the room. The only complaint I had is that there were no outlets by either side of the bed so that you could plug your phone up. The closest outlet was across the room by the tv. Makes you want to travel with an extension cord especially when you use your phone for business. The breakfast buffett was delicious! « less

I stay in Holiday Inns all over the world and I have to say that this one is probably limited by its internal architecture. The lift and stairs are miles away from the reception. Not the hotels fault, but a real pain, not that I mind the exercise. The rooms were far better than I expected, although the internal aircon units are rather noisy so I turned mine off. Nice crispy bacon at breakfast but no Earl Grey tea which was disappointing for an English visitor. Not a family hotel, but fine for short business trips as long as you dont mind the long walk to your room. The saving grace for me was the free shuttle provided to major destinations such as airport, Diebold HQ etc. « less

Stayed there one night on business. The room was dark and tired. The remote control, a good way to gauge how well they clean was covered in, well I don't know what. The bathroom was clean but the baseboards were coming off. The hallways were just plain worn out. The staff is excellent and very attentive which will help bring up my evaluation. The food was very average but again, the staff was very good. I would probably not stay there again until it was renovated. « less
