Windmill Suites in gorgeous Surprise, Arizona is a beautiful southwestern style ‘boutique’ hotel consisting of 126 true two room suites that surround a large heated outdoor pool, whirlpool spa, and tropical courtyard.
As you enter your 500 square foot suite, the living room welcomes you with its sleeper sofa that pulls out to a double bed, remote controlled television, coffee table and desk/work area. There is a small walk-in kitchen area in each suite that consists of a microwave, under-counter refrigerator, sink and breakfast bar. Through the double French doors in the living room is the bedroom with your choice of either one king size or two double size beds, and a second telephone. The separate bath area includes a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, two vanity sinks and a third telephone. All of our beds and mattresses are new as of March 2010, and we have a ‘new style’ bedding with choice of firm & soft pillows for your comfort.
We are about a 40-minute drive from Sky Harbor International Airport. We are close to seven championship golf courses, and fine dining establishments. Phoenix area is a Mecca for sports enthusiasts with The University of Phoenix Stadium, where the Arizona Cardinals play is only 20 mins away. Jobing-com Arena, which is home to the NHL Coyotes and also serves for concerts of major stars, is close to the Cardinals stadium. Chase field where our Diamondbacks play also US Airways center is home to The Suns basketball team is about 35 mins away. During March Spring Training takes place all over the valley, Surprise is where The Texas Rangers and The Kansas City Royals play with their stadium only 5 mins away. We are proud to be the ‘Preferred Hotel of The Texas Rangers’ in Spring Training and have been so for the last 6 years!

We've been staying here for about a week every year for the last 3 years, staff is always friendly and helpful. The A/C worked great this year and didn't need to change rooms as in previous years.
We did have trouble with the key card this year, had to insert it many times before the entrance doors and our room door would show a green light and open.
Also one suggestion I made to the front desk is they really need to upgrade their TV's to Flat Screen HDTV's. Their old worn out tube TV's they have are extremely hard to see with the TV stations sending out their High Definition signals. « less

My husband and I stayed at the Windmill Suites in Surprise, AZ, April 22nd & 23rd while visiting family in the area. We originally planned to spend only one night, but were so pleasantly surprised that we stayed an additional night. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful and the accommodations were very clean, spacious and comfortable. We also loved the free coffee, tea and ice water service that is conveniently available just down the hall, around the clock. We travel to the Phoenix area often and definitely plan to revisit this Windmill Suites. « less

My husband's tennis team and their wives have stayed at this hotel the last two times they played in the Super Senior National Championships. It has been a pleasure each time from the moment I called to reserve the rooms until we checked out. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The suites are clean and the beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the convenience of the breakfast and especially enjoyed our evening get-togethers on the covered patio. « less

On April 18 our tennis team and I stayed in the Windmill Suites during the National Championships for Super Seniors. We were welcomed by the staff and the front desk. Three of us stayed in a suite and I slept on the sofa bed and it was comfortable. The rooms were clean, the hotel quiet and cookies in the lobby. When we needed pillows or extra towels the housekeeping staff was very prompt in delivering whatever we needed. The breakfast bar was delicious with hot and cold choices. They even opened the breakfast bar early for the tennis players who had early matches. That was above and beyond service. We certainly will stay there again. My tennis team and I stayed in the Windmill Suites during the National Championships for Super Seniors 60+. From the moment we got there, we felt very welcomed by the front desk staff. There were three of us in a suite, and I slept on the fold-out couch, which was surprisingly comfortable. Fresh apples in the morning and cookies in the afternoon, plus free coffee, tea and lemon water all day made us feel right at home. There was a large number of tennis players staying at the Windmill, and some of us had very early matches scheduled. When the staff became aware of that, they made sure to set out a full hot breakfast an hour earlier than normal. I was very impressed. « less
