We stayed just one night, en route to the Grand Canyon, and it was perfectly suited for an overnight stop. The room was clean and comfortable, the in-house mexican restaurant provided an acceptable dinner for a couple of weary travellers, and the complimentary breakfast set us up nicely the next day. All in all it's what you expect for a motel in the middle of nowhere (sorry Barstow!) and would recommend it to anyone. « less

The front desk receptionist Anna is the worst receptionist I ever came across. She is unprofessional and rude. She made up excusses just want to save the trouble to exchange the room for us. Excuse me, she works in hotel business, customer servce is basic requirement. She should satisfy customer reasonable request or else she shouldn't work in the field which customer service is important. She should be retrained and understand "CUSTOMER SERVICE". If she felt annoyed and refused customer request, she shouldn't work in front desk where she need to deal with customer. Really shame on her with all her lie. Hope Quality Inn can have a better training program for their employee so they know what is CUSTOMER SERVICE. « less

I got stuck in traffic from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. It got late and I had to find a place to sleep. This turned out to be a very good choice. The surprise? The size of the rooms and lack of noise. It was not the least expensive, But it was comfortable safe and included breakfast « less

An older property very well maintained. Our room 107 had new a/c unit, flat screen TV, iron, frig, micro, desk, great hot water and pressure, toiletries, and easy chair with foot rest. The WiFi was fast with a strong signal. Room was clean and the king bed was comfortable with clean linen. Restaurant on premises, outdoor pool, and free coffee in lobby all day. The hotel was higher priced than others in the area. But the higher price comes out cheaper in the long run. Many of the other hotels are also old and poorly maintained. We stopped off at several and asked to see a room and left. This hotel offers a coupon in the interstate coupon books, did not charge extra for a second person, did not charge extra for a Friday stay, and served a full Denny's style breakfast in the morning. Not having to pay for a full breakfast at a restaurant is a big savings for a couple or family. We recommend pay a little extra for the hotel because of all the above. « less
