I reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Ramada Conference Center in Fishkill, NY for my wedding weekend (November 23, 2013). I was a little skeptical given some of the poor reviews I have read on other sites, but decided to go with the Ramada because of the price (one of the cheapest in the area), free breakfast (left something to be desired but was decent), and bar/nightclub on the premises. The bar was much better than I expected; good music, friendly service, and lots of seating. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and very friendly. My room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked. The one qualm I have with the place is that some of the carpets on the first floor and the stairwell smell pretty smokey. I would recommend getting new carpeting to enhance the experience of others. I spoke with the rest of our guests, and a vast majority enjoyed staying there.

Property Description

This is the original and still the only full-service Fishkill Hotel & Conference Center.

Ramada Conference Center is located with easy access at Exit 13 North off I-84 on Route 9. The Ramada Conference Center offers free parking with extra room for buses and free wireless Internet access. The hotel has 157 total rooms with over 60 double room types,handicap and smoking.

The Fishkill Grill serves hot buffet or menu breakfast and a full dinner menu. The Brass Rail Lounge is open at 5PM Mon-Sat with weekend entertainment. We have an outdoor pool with courtyard gazebo for relaxation or a meeting. The hotel has 10,000 Sq Ft of conference and meeting rooms with full catering services. We have a business center and fitness room for our guests. Wyndham Rewards accepted.
