i stayed here along with wife and son of age 21 months . not so happy about my stay. got a very good price but thats about it. first of all the reception lady when we checked in was not welcoming at all. she seemed pretty tired and fedup of her job. most places provide complementry cribs but they were charging 5 dollars for one. wifi in the room was not working properly and my phone had 1 or zero bars on it. the location also is a bit far only thing walking distance is planet hollywood where we had lunch other then that to get to clifton hill it will take about 15 min walking. « less

Looking for a cheap Friday night away to Niagara, I just stayed here this past weekend. At $50 a night for a 3* hotel a 5 minute walk from the Falls, I was expecting very little.
The outside of the hotel is almost shockingly ugly and most hotel rooms seem to back on to a parking lot. The hotel advertises some Fallsview rooms though I honestly don't know how this is possible based on the location. That being said, the hotel probably is a closer walk to the Falls than many on Clifton Hill so it certainly is not a bad location at all.
The lobby of the hotel was nicer than expected and the front desk agent was very friendly. I found most staff I dealt with to be very pleasant, in fact.
The rooms themselves were simple but also nicer than I expected. They were clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable which was about all we needed. The air conditioning was not yet working in the hotel but they quickly sent a fan to our room and it was not overly hot so this was not a big deal. Our TV also did not work but hey, who needs TV on a vacation anyways? One outlet in the room did not work either. These were all small issues with the hotel that made our stay not ideal but certainly satisfactory, especially considering the price.
Parking was $10, which is a bit annoying for a cheap hotel with a huge parking lot but hey, that's Niagara. After checkout, the front desk agent said we could stay parked there until about 4pm or 5pm if needed which was definitely appreciated and helpful.
All in all, for $70 inclusive of taxes and parking, the hotel is a good no frills stop that's close to the Falls and Clifton Hill. With the many, many hotels in the region, I'm sure there's better options but I'm also sure there are much worse. « less

The hotel is VERY dated but the rooms are clean. Pay extra so you are able to have a view of the falls instead of the parking lot. We stayed in a family room which was fairly large but nothing special. We stayed in room 105 and the screen on the patio door was broken and the shower door was broken as well. The location is great as you can walk to Clifton Hill and the Casino in about 5 minutes. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. The bacon wasn't cooked and the sausage was burnt. Oh and the fruit was actually fruit cocktail out of the can, you know the kind with cherries and syrup? If you are on a budget it's an okay place to stay but don't expect much. It's cheap for a reason. « less

We are very happy to have discovered Michael’s Inn, our Niagara Falls “home away from home”. We live in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, so we travel and stay in Niagara Falls frequently, just to “get away and relax”. After staying in many high rise expensive chain hotels, and spending hundreds of dollars for weekend getaways, we found Michael’s Inn, a small, very quiet, inexpensive hotel which suits us perfectly, with a great value and perfect location. The owners are working very hard to constantly upgrade and improve the facilities. It is a little older than the chain hotels, but it is very quaint, and above all, exceptionally clean and comfortable. We usually stay in rooms with a balcony, overlooking the river. The spacious front entrance lobby foyer is very inviting, and has been recently renovated. The hallways and many rooms have new carpet. During the peak periods, a delicious buffet breakfast with a wide variety of dishes, is available. The pool and hot tub area is a must to experience. There is a good sized pool, a kiddie pool, sauna & shower. While enjoying the hot tub, you have a magnificent view of the Niagara River, Casino Niagara, Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Café, Bird Kingdom and the bridge border crossing. There is a spacious gym with top of the line exercise equipment. We are always welcomed by the friendly Manager Scott who knows us by name, the very accomodating front desk reception Sarah, and the very helpful front desk assistant Robert. Carol does an exceptional effort in cleaning the rooms, leaving plenty of towels, and supplies. Family rooms with 3 queen beds are available. Some rooms have Jacuzzis. The hotel is wheelchair accessible. There is a business center with a computer and printer, as well as complimentary wifi in the rooms. « less

Front desk staff is available. Parking is $10.00 per night. You can get a room where you can see your vehicle in the parking lot. There is bottled water in the room that is a $3.95 charge per bottle. It is $10.00 per night if you want a refrigerator in your room. When we stayed here it was nice and quiet and easy to sleep. The heater heats the room quickly. The beds and the carpets were clean in our room. The room window drapes cover the window very well. The room is bright and has lots of lights. The bathroom could use some basic renovations if you are fussy about bathrooms. I would guess this Inn is not as noisy as some other inns and motels in Niagara Falls. It is a bit of an older place, but it is neat, retro and it is good.
The Inn is very close to Bird Kingdom, Planet Hollywood, and the bridge to the U.S.A. It is a 5 minute walk to Casino Niagara... It is an easy drive or less than 30 minute walk to Falsview Casino Resort.
If you are tired of paying over $ 70.00 to $100.00 bucks per night for a room, try this Inn instead. « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"When people provide customer friendly service in today’s world, it should be applauded! So many businesses have taken almost and adversarial attitude towards the customer, in other words, they over compensate for a consumer not following through. As a business, it is my understanding, that the business should always follow through and do as they promise! Loyalty between consumers and businesses should remain alive, profit above service is a bad plan and will cost the business in the long run!" R.F. - Denver, CO
"Your reservation bidding service is fantastic. It went smoothly and it helped us save money. Everything a non-profit wants from the world!" H.F. - Atlanta, GA
