"I have slept better in my car!"

Upon making my reservations I was told that the Red Roof was highly comparable to the Crown Plaza just across the street (big lie), where I originally wanted to stay but unfortunately was booked up. There were cracks in the ceiling and burn holes in the comforters. Very, very tacky. There were these very loud tapping noises coming from only God knows where through out the night making it very hard to settle in. At one point I contemplated calling the front desk to be moved, but my son asked me not to since we only had to be there for one night. Thank goodness! I told the guy about the noises at checkout and he acted as if he could care less and I'm sure he didn't. I also called back to the hotel after finding that I had left a water bottle in the fridge of the room and I offered to pay the postage to have it mailed to me if found, butIi never heard back from the gentleman who took my name and number or pretended to and said he would call me back in 15 minutes. Yes it was only a water bottle but the person who purchased it for me is no longer in my life. And lastly I was charged over $90 for that room and it should've been only $9 really. Sincerely, I would never stay at Wreck Roof Inn again.
