I stayed in a one-room suite. The room had a balcony and I could see right across to the river from it. The room was slightly larger than I expected, clean, with a well-equipped little kitchen with a small fridge, oven, and dishwasher. (The only thing it lacked was a kettle and when I asked at reception if it was possible to have one, they sent one up within a few minutes.) The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Wi-fi worked with no problems. The breakfast choice was good, including fruit salads and hot food as well as muffins, bagels and cereals. The only problem was that if I got up to get something else, anything that I had left on the table was cleared away even if I hadn't finished with it. But it's better to be too efficient than not efficient enough. I only went to one of the manager's reception events. This mainly involved dips, cheese, crackers and Pepsi, served in the breakfast room. The hotel location was good. The street is a quiet residential one in a nice area. It is also convenient for McGill, the Musee des Beaux Arts and the metro at Atwater is just 5 minutes walk. And there are lots of supermarkets and other shops nearby so it's easy to get any shopping you need. The hotel will also do your grocery shopping for you if you prefer. The main thing that would have made it better would have been a service lift. Housekeeping and porters transporting stuff seemed to make it really slow - sometimes there was a very long wait. But this is a minor point. « less

Hotel is conveniently located in terms of major attractions and public transportation. We used metro (Atwater station is approximately 5 min walking distance from the hotel; found it to be a great option, with 24h pass for $9) and bus no. 165/ St. Joseph's Oratory, Mont Royal (bus stop is couple blocks from the hotel; metro ticket can be used for bus as well). There are many places to eat, and supermarkets in the vicinity. Staff was very polite, professional, and helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze. Room was very clean, and tastefully decorated. Kitchenette was equipped with a full fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, pans, plates, utensils, toaster, and coffeemaker. Hotel offers a garage parking at $20/day (had a small SUV and was able to use the on-site garage), free Wi-Fi (used in frequently and had no issues; ask for the code when checking in), and very nice buffet breakfast (hot and cold:). Had a really pleasant stay. « less

The rooms are very clean and beds comfortable with dishwasher, oven, stove, fridge, and ver clean. Good underground parking with a fee. Close to main action of Monntreal but far enough way to be quite. « less

This recently renovated hotel is just 3 blocks from St Catherine, yet tucked into a quiet, residential neighborhood. Our room was a 2 room suite, with nicely furnished sitting area / living room, with dining room table, and dimmed overhead lighting. Great new kitchen, with full size fridge, micro / oven, utensils, pots / pans, dishes etc. Also had a nice balcony. They offer free breakfast in the mornings, although we were not up in time to take advantage of it. Staff were exceptionally professional and courteous. Overall this hotel is a great little hidden gem. If you can make the location work for your plans, I doubt you will be disappointed. « less

We spent a weekend in a modern, clean and comfortable hotel for the second time. The staff is friendly and professional. The buffet breakfast is good, everything you need to start out well your day.. There is a rooftop indoor swimming pool a wonderful gym and a sauna. If you do not have a SUV, you can leave your car in the hotel garage. The hotel is close to the core downtown, and you do not need the car. The metro station is within 5-7 min walking distance. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, « less
