I stayed in the hotel for 6 nights on a business trip. The staff is very friendly and helpful in the hotel as well as in the restaurant. The rooms are absolutely clean and my room was very large. I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel as a small pool which is not deep enough for swimming.
At the moment are some renovation works at the high number (larger 5xx) rooms. But it started not before 9am. I heard nothing, but during daytime a was not in the hotel. « less

Having once lived nearby, I always wondered what this hotel would be like. Trader Vics used to be right next to it. The hotel itself is pleasant. It is a bit dated, especially on the outside, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast by the pool was not very good, and we ended up going down the road most mornings. Internet access was excellent, and what I would expect for a place in the Valley. Considering how outrageously expensive most hotels are in this area, the price was comparatively reasonable. « less

We just returned from a 3 day stay at Dinah's Garden Hotel. The ambiance and gardens are make this a wonderful, calming oasis in Palo Alto. However, cleanliness and service is an issue. The room was not well cleaned, the rug was tired, old and very stained. The bed was old and too soft. The pool had much plant debris floating in it, despite the morning 'cleaning'. The gym had very few facilities. Finally, we asked for a one hour later check out since we had a two year old toddler who was in the middle of a nap on the last day, and the person at the desk was curt and unwilling to entertain any other solutions- despite the reasons cited. I would not recommend this hotel « less

If we book 2 queen bed with garden room we will get either 1 king with garden or 2 queen with road view. Hotel management over books than there rooms and curse travel sites. « less
