Copper Mountain Resort offers reception facilities suitable for groups of 20 to 250. For larger parties we suggest the Grand Hall at Copper Station. This location, which overlooks our pristine golf course, is a lovely room that will provide a dramatic backdrop for your momentous affair. With floor to ceiling windows, your guests will be able to appreciate the beauty of the Rocky Mountains.

The best thing about this place was location, easy walking distance to the BeeLine Lift. The condo looked exactly what we saw in the pictures, small cozy and doable for a family of 4. Outside hot tub and inside parking were plusses. We paid about $150/night.
The heating however was another story. Since we stayed in a loft-style condo it was way too warm upstairs and way too cold downstairs so we all had trouble sleeping. The ceiling fan wasn't adequate enough to circulate the forced air nor was the gas fireplace enough to warm the downstairs' so plan on accordingly if you book there.
Other minor problems included: some of the electrical outlets weren't working, a light bulb needed replacement. We contacted the property manager about these issues; he did acknowledge about the heating issues. Some of these lofty units were converted into 2 complete floors so the effects were opposite with colder upstairs and too warm downstairs! He did stop by our unit and assessed the electrical outlets but nothing was fixed.
The cleaning staff comes daily to empty the garbage, replace towels, etc. They don't make the beds. One of the days the door was left unlocked. Even if we did accidentally left the unit unlocked we came back and found it unlocked. Nothing was stolen. I did talk to the cleaners the next day and he was willing to listen.
A few more tidbits about location. It's near Christy's where you can rent ski/snow boarding equipment and literally ski to the BeeLine lift from there. There are shops and bars nearby. The coffee shop opens early in the am but the not end of day, which would;ve been nice after a long day of skiing. The Center village has a small grocery store which will require either free bus ride or very short drive. Not sure about walking to the Center Village from the East Village......The Center Village is more equipped than the East Village.
Not sure if I would stay there again........ « less
“Copper Mountain is great, but East Village rooms weren't nice.”

Copper Mountain: Beautiful. I read it's the least crowded of all summit county resorts and it lived up to that. There were plenty of people around, but not packed in like the town of Breckenridge for example. Came with my girlfriend and we had the time of our lives. The cocacola tube hill was a blast. The location was great (near vail, breck, frisco, everything). The best activity we did was a snowmobile tour through White Mountain Tours. It was one of the coolest things I've ever done. They took us up to around 12k feet. The area was breathtaking. It was the highlight of the trip. Also I have to point out, a great tasting (and cheap) breakfast can be had at Tuckers Tavern.
East Village: I booked my room using a common travel website. The photos on that site were NOTHING like the actual room we got. The photos looked nice, new and clean with log furniture and fireplaces. The actual room we got looked straight our of 1980 and was the size of a large closet. These are condos that people rent out through a central mgmt service and I was told that they had all been updated. That was not the case with our room, or the other rooms we saw or anywhere else in the building. It was borderline gross (as in, cough up a $200 cancellation fee and get the heck out because it's worth it). If you're only booking a room for a place to crash at night, it would be suitable, but bringing the girlfriend on her first trip to Colorado? Not so much. Our building was the Fox Pine and like I said, it was not nice. There are many other new, nice looking buildings in Copper Mountain. Use the coppercolorado.com site to see the actual buildings under "lodging" at the bottom of their homepage. There are 10-15 buildings and they vary GREATLY in quality. I must also add that the Double Diamond restaurant located in the Fox Pine building was just as gross and dated as the rooms.
Closing: I will return to Copper. It's a great resort and we had the time of our lives. Awesome location, activities, people, etc... However, I will NEVER stay in east village or fox pine again. « less

We rented from www.foxpine.com. This was a individual homeowner named Todd. He was very responsive from enquiries all the way through booking and arrival process.
The location was idea. Ski-in/out with dining in building and also a hot tub.
The unit itself was larger than most units we have stayed at and was in good condition. We liked this unit as it was private being on end of building. « less

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. The unit was nice once we aired it out for a day; it had overwhelming cooking smells from prior guests. Furnishings and decor were at the level expected. The kids enjoyed the small heated pool. The ski lockers are conveniently located just inside the front door of the building. The building is across the street from the main resort building for the East Village; it's a 100 yard walk to the Super Bee lift. When we rented through Copper Mountain Resort, we also purchased lift tickets and were given their B-line tickets which allow you to skip most of the lift lines essentially on the same basis that the ski school groups do.
One advantage of the East Village over the Center Village is that it is quieter. The resort and shops play loud music in the Center Village streets and I would hate to be stuck in one of those units.
My major complaint is the resort's gold/silver style of reservation in which they refuse to identify the unit you are actually renting. We rented at the last minute and were able to get some specificity. But other years I have gone through Carbonate Realty or directly with owners. I think it is ridiculous to be asked to commit to the rates requested and then be told they can't identify the unit. That's taking a lot on faith and I won't do it. If anyone from IntraWest is reading this - please fix this reservation system - it alienates anyone with any common sense. « less

Fox Pine Inn were very nice. Each condo was very spacious and comforting after a long day of skiing. There was a heated pool and even though it was snowing and below 20 people still went swimming. My only complaint was how small the gear lockers were in the basement. « less
