This was our first time at a bed and breakfast and my husband and I really enjoyed ourselves. We had the gorgeous" lavender blue room". It had lovely antiques, a beautifully decorated bed and a cute little bathroom. The shower was a bit small but we found humor in that. There is an outdoor hot tub that we used each night that was relaxing. Ed, our host, put towels out by the hot tub for us to use each night. Breakfast was simple but very delicious. We had lunch at Talus on the mountain as advised by our host and it was great. We will certainly go back again. « less

We often take mini -vacations we call escapes to B&B's over the years and this one left a lot to be desired. We didn't find the innkeepers as friendly or informative as others we have met...they seemed more aloof ,not what we had expected of a B&B. Our "Room with a View" had french doors that looked out at roof tops of the other cabins and the driveway. The room was clean but over furnished and lacked a comfortable place to sit and read. Breakfast was served at 9a.m. and was nothing out of the ordinary. The best part of our stay was the outdoor fire pit in the evening where you could sit and chat with other guests. Loved the mountain area with its many attractions and activities and the historic battlefield. « less

Our decision yesterday morning to stay at the Garden Walk B&B last night was a great one; we enjoyed our fresh, clean cabin room in the garden cottage -- no bugs, no mold, clean carpet and full, fresh towels. The B&B consists of cabins either with two separate rooms or a "one cabin" unit and all are "in" the garden. This morning's breakfast was delicious and attractively presented; no rice. The setting was wonderful, the owners extremely helpful and we are looking forward to another, longer, visit. « less

This was a great place. We loved our room and the grounds. It was decorated really nice, very comfortable, plenty of space. Breakfast and the keepers were great. Upon our return from breakfast our room had already been cleaned and spruced for the day as we were staying another night. I am glad I brought my own pillows but that is the only thing. We will be coming back for another get-away!! « less

Last minute stay and the owner was wonderful to work with us. Lovely rooms with charming taste in decoration. Close to Rock City. Lovely exterior decks to dine if you love being outside. We didn't arrive until almost 9 in the pouring rain and the owner grabbed his umbrella and braved the weather to show us safely to our cottage. Breakfast is not served until 8 a.m. E.S.T but they did have a one cup coffee pot in the cottage. « less

"Our church ladies do this once or twice a year and you will now be my "GO-TO" place immediately. I was AMAZED that within just a few minutes of clicking on that contact hotel button that I got phone calls from REAL people that politely answered all my questions and were willing to accommodate our every need!!!! W O W !!!!! I'm impressed and will automatically go to your site again when our ladies plan a get-away. :~) THANKS SO MUCH" M.S. - Indianapolis, IN
