Howell High School (HHS) is a four-year comprehensive public high school located in Howell Township, New Jersey, as part of the Freehold Regional High School District. Other students from Howell Township attend Freehold Township High School in Freehold Township. Portions of Howell students used to be sent to Colts Neck High School in Colts Neck Township, but future students in those neighborhoods now attend HHS.
As of the 2006-07 school year, the school had an enrollment of 2,056 students and 146 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.1.
The school was the 159th-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 316 schools statewide, in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2008 cover story on the state's Top Public High Schools.
