We stayed at the ocean view. The rooms were clean and made available to us early. The staff was nice and helpful and did not push the timeshare. Pools and property were kept clean. Very close to beach and Pompano pier. While the area is full of restaurants and stores, a car is strongly reccomended. I would love to stay again. « less

The staff was great and did not hassle us about buying a timeshare, it probably helped that we said we were not married. I would definitely stay here again! « less

We checked into sea gardens resort on 4/06/2013. The staff was great but our accommodations were not. The place looks nothing like the pictures on the Internet, much older looking. We were given a room on the beach side. When we walked in a roach ran across the floor and ants were on the bathroom sink. I promptly killed it and took it back to the front desk to complain. They were nice about it and offered us another room on the third floor. We took it and moved in. I guess they thought roaches can't climb. Well we didn't see another roach until the third day. After that a lizard moved into our room and we didn't see another roach after that. Someone said that maybe lizards eat roaches. We wouldn't recommend this place. « less

Overall a nice vacation spot. Only two complaints, our room was not ready for 4'oclck check in. We actually came to the hotel early to check in and was told that we would be called as soon as a room was ready, we returned at 3:30 and still no room. We didn't actually get the keys until 4:10. Also, there was a shortage of beach/pool towels. Other than those two things, the place was great. Would definitely return to the area. « less
