Having a ticket for a show in Baltimore a few nights ago, I decided to spend the night when I bought it so I booked a room at the Days Inn Inner Harbor because of its close proximity to the venue. The initial rate upon check-in was $151 but, when I mentioned to the receptionist that I thought I remembered it to be in the $140s she asked me if I had AAA and, when I said that I did, she lowered it to $119. The room was spacious and more than ample, clean, and well maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel bar was small, having only four seats at the bar itself but, as there was no one else there, that was not a problem. There were only two beers on tap, neither of which I cared for, so I had two old favorites, Yuengling and Laphroaig, to accompany a very good chicken and mashed potato dinner I found on the menu. All in all it was a very pleasant stay in a very nice hotel, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a room in the area. « less

I went to Baltimore to attend the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo. My daughter and her family came with for a weekend vacation. We only stayed one night (Saturday) but wished we had booked for another day. The gentlemen at the front (valet) were very welcoming, as was the front desk personnel. We arrived early, but luckily there was a room available. The rooms were very clean. The beds were SO SO comfortable. Even though we did not breakfast at the hotel, our total experience at Days Inn was very pleasant. I will stay here again when I return next year for the Expo. « less
