Our company uses this hotel for all our travel into Lathrop CA, and we have no plans for doing anything differently in the future. We often travel between BC & Mexico and nearly always stay in Hampton Inns. They are always clean, quiet and have friendly staff. The free internet in the room is a plus and the breakfast that are also free are better than most "free" breakfasts at other hotel chains. Being a Hilton card member also means a free room night every so often. « less

I agree, the Brand does offer many free amenities that are great values such as a free hot breakfast and free wifi. Our property does offer a few things that most Hamptons do not necessarily have, that is our free welcome reception with hot and cold apps from 5-7PM Mon to Thurs, and we also have over 100 HD channels in all guestrooms. In addition, we have a 2200 sq ft outdoor patio with seating and fun games such as ping pong, foosball, and basketball. It is so fun to work at our hotel because folks are pleasantly suprised as to the extras we have. Thanks again for staying with the Hampton Brand, we appreciate your business. Have a great week!

Super great hotel. Daisy Besabe, General Manager, and Amor, Front Desk, are professional, courteous, accommodating, and very pleasant. Class Act hotel. They offer a full breakfast, evening snacks, cookies, and 24/7 coffee, tea, and fresh fruit. Free internet is included. Room was very clean and the bedding is fully laundered daily, including the bedspread. I had the two bed queen room which was large. Refrig and microwave available in the room. Recommend this property for future stays. « less

I always stay at Hampton Inns when traveling and picked this one because of good reviews on Tripadvisor. BUT. I think you should be warned that this location caters to traveling youth sports teams, and that client is more important than your one time stay with them.
I requested top floor room and got it. The room was facing the freeway but that was no big deal. The room was in the middle of the building just above an outdoor patio and basketball court. When I heard bouncing ball and shouts while a few people played basketball around 7pm I was not too concerned even though it was annoying. But while trying to go to sleep at 9:30 the game below had grown to many kids was too loud to ignore. I went down to the lobby to complain and was told they close the basketball court at 10pm. Period. The lobby, pool, patio was FULL of loud kids running around with a few parent chaperones just sitting at tables in the breakfast area eating fast food and talking.
I was traveling/moving from Phoenix, Arizona to Northern California and had driven 370 miles that day and my husband had driven the largest U-Haul truck that far. We really needed this hotel for what we usually need a hotel for - to sleep! To hotel managers everywhere: this is why people are so picky about where in the building their room is located. It is because of bad experiences like this one. So just a warning to others, at this location in particular you need to pick your room location accordingly.
The hotel did close the game down a little after 10pm, but it took a while for things to settle down and get quiet after that. « less

Thank you for y our review and feedback. I am disappointed to hear that you did not get rest while at our hotel. We do tend to get many different types of customers and/or groups. We do not necessarily cater to any one kind, as all of our guests are important to us. We do offer many free amenities that are open until 10pm, as is the patio area and swimming pool. We have had guests feel that that is not enough time to stay open, but in an effort to have a good balance and make sure it is quiet, we do heavily enforce the 10pm closures. I apologize that we could not stop the outdoor group from playing basketball and using the space that is advertised to be open until then. I hope that in the future we might be able to help you with a room on the opposite non-freeway side at the other end of the building. Our first choice in overnight accommodations while on the road is always Hampton Inns. Pricing is good and the rooms are nice. Free breakfast is OK but not great. Bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, etc.) aren't what they should be. Pillows and mattresses should be upgraded, I believe. « less
