The staff is great. Very friendly and they make you feel like you are their favorite guest. Hotel is spotless which is a big plus for me. We have been here for 5 nights and will be leaving today. The beach is a short walk across the street and all the shopping and restaurants are in walking distance. Our room has a beautiful ocean view which is worth the upgrade. The rooms are a little small but they are adequate and the housekeeper keeps it clean and neat. Parking was included in the rate and I recommend the valet service. You can call and have your car brought around and drop it off with them when you are done. It's worth the tip. Now the breakfast...it was included in our rate and it is very convenient. However, the hotel caters to an Asian clientele which means that the breakfast has many Asian food items on it which may seem strange to Mainlanders and Europeans. Sticky rice, tofu, miso, seaweed, etc. They also offer eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. unfortunately those items are not very tastey. I had cereal and fruit each morning and my husband opted for the sticky rice and tofu options. He said it was great (then again he's a boy and a bit of a health nut). There are other breakfast places (Dennie's) on Waikiki but having food available right downstairs was more important to us than taste. We will be going to The Big Island next so we took advantage of the laundry room here which was terrific. If we return to Waikiki we will definitely stay here again, and I will recommend it to others. My only complaint is that being that our room was an ADA room, I was surprised that there was not a separate hand held shower head to be used at the shower bench. The one provided reached, but just barely. This is minor and would not prevent me from returning. This hotel definitely embraces the Aloha spirit.
One other thing that other people mentioned, it is a little noisy. Keep in mind that Waikiki is a big city so unless you Opel room-is on the beach facing the ocean you will get some noise. The Parc is across the street from a small bus station so you can here the beeping when they back up. The up side about the bus terminal is that if you want to take a tour, you have only to walk across the street. « less

Room clean and comfortable and an added bonus was the ablity to use restaurants etc. at their sister hotel, the Halukalani, just across the road and right on the beach and charge back to the Parc.would definately stay again. « less

We were looking for something which didn't break the bank, was clean and tidy and location location, location and this hotel hit the unimaginable 3, staff were great rooms were nice, at the tail end of this holiday (currentky in Vegas again) we are stopping back through Waikiki and I'm disappointed we didn't book there again for the next 3 nights but it's always nice trying different things too.
*Give it a go, it's parent hotel is on the beach opposite and shares it's amenities (not pool, mainly food) but gives a pleasant access to beach front if a little lane isn't to your taste « less

We were pleasantly surprised with this little gem. Location was fantastic for something that was not on the beach...but was as close to it as possible without paying the "on the beach" prices. It was a quick 2 minute walk to the water and tiny beach area and another 5 minutes along a boardwalk if you wanted the main big beach. The staff was helpful and efficient - check in was smooth. The hotel was clean, starting to wear just slightly (slight dings in the walls in the hallways, etc), but still nice. I think the only thing we weren't pleased with was the breakfast buffet. We were offered a coupon discount for it..and thankfully we were...because I would have been disappointed if I paid full price. The buffet does cater to two demographics - Asian (as it seemed to be a large portion of their clientele) and North American food. I cant speak to the Asian fare...but the North American fare was a sad state. The fresh juice was good, but the only egg option was a pre-made plain omelet that were gone as soon as they put them out in the buffet, there was a small fruit plate with under ripe fruit and the toaster did not toast. With all that...I can say that the bacon was exceptional!
Overall - good experience - walking distance was good to all amenities...restaurants, beach, stores, etc. I would stay here again. « less
