• Infused with a historical heritage, the intimate yet dramatic two story lobby is highlighted by a
9 foot hand carved wood burning fireplace, custom chandelier and wood beamed ceiling.
• Our public spaces showcase 20th century masterpieces by artists Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst, Richard Prince, Keith Haring, and Julian Schnabel. All private collection, the canvases change periodically and guest curators are be invited to exhibit art of the same caliber
• Our 185 gem colored rooms feature oak wood floors draped in handmade imported rugs, leather topped desks, velvet wing chairs, and feather beds with imported Italian 400 thread count linens.
• Custom Mahogany English Drinking Cabinet containing LCD TV with DVD player and iPod docking station
Dining & Drinking:
• Private RoofClub and Garden on the 18th floor – indoor lounge areas and glass enclosed terrace serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails under the stars.
• Off of the lobby are the Rose and Jade Bars, two of the city's most celebrated hotspots for cocktails and people watching. Rose Bar becomes a private member salon after 10 PM. Hotel guests are welcomed, however must make advance reservations via our concierge.
• Danny Meyer debuted Maialino in November 2009. Inspired by his love of Roman Trattorias, our restaurant features an espresso bar in morning, selections of wine and small plates throughout the day and fine dining in the evening. This is Danny Meyer’s first opening since The Modern at MOMA in 2005; his other esteemed restaurants include Gramercy Tavern, Union Square Café, and Blue Smoke.
