After our experience in Paris this hotel was a welcome relief! Very clean, well appointed hotel. The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful for excursions. This hotel was less than 10 dollars more per night than our hotel in Paris and the difference between the two was night and day. (This was much, much better.) Nice room with a king size bed, small sitting area and a bidet in the bathroom. Has it's own restaurant/bar area if you just want to grab a bite or drink. However, there is also a fairly big market just around the corner of the block that you can buy whatever you might want to lessen the impact of buying breakfast, etc. We bought wine, croissants, cheese and fruit and had a delightful time. We traveled everywhere within the city by metro or hop-on/hop-off bus and it was all very, very close to the hotel. Also the train station (to get from the airport) was within 2 1/2 blocks. We would definitey go back to this hotel. « less

I would strongly recommend this hotel because it is just gorgeous, convenient, the train station is just over the road.. super cool to relax, the restaurant and bar on the ground floor is just what is needed to relax after a hot day in the city, the price is good, I had a huge twin room / queen size beds which seemed like a suite, for just 85 euros.. the friendly staff ensured comfort, not to mention all the goodies in the bathroom to take away.. the only thing is might have to pay for a wi-fi plug.. « less

Close to the railway station...you can see the sign from the front of the station. Very good bathroom including an electronic loo / bidet..pity about the surly receptionist. Didn't bother...

The rooms are clean and modern but the bathrooms are a little dated and could do with updateing. Breakfast was simple and easy, however i would recomend eating out as the resturant is not very exciting. « less

stayed here in july 2012 for 3 nights booked through a package hotel & airfare. the location of the hotel was convenient as it was literally steps from sants estacio metro stop. it's also close to the regional train station barcelona sants which we took from madrid....note that we initially had difficulty finding the hotel walking and leaving the station as there are many streets intersecting and you can't easily see the sign for the hotel on top when you are at street level so close.
the hotel is pretty modern and clean both bathrooms and beds. there is free wifi but the code changes daily which is a bit annoying. we had breakfast included in the package and was pretty good quality and had some variety. there weren't too many recommended spots to eat nearby but it was a nice hotel to rest at after a long day of sightseeing. the main downside is that it isn't in the middle of action or near a specific tourist area but since its so close to the metro it was very easy to access and travel all around town. we enjoyed our stay overall and would recommend for the value « less
