Recently visited New Orleans. Location of the hotel was good as it was close to shops and restaurants/attractions. But that's where the good bit runs out. When we tried checking in, they didn't have our room booking due to booking.com's loss of contract with the hotel, even though we confirmed the guaranteed room with both parties. Ended up with not what we paid for. Front counter staff were not sympathetic at all about the situation. Then the toilet overflowed and the floor wasn't cleaned properly for the entire stay. On our last night , at 1am, someone was conducting hotel maintenance (hammering) and woke us up when we were sleeping. To top it off, some front counter staff were rude and every request seemed like too much of an effort. Spend your money somewhere else. « less

As stated this is a great location . It is an easy walk to the French Quarter and the waterfront.We had a room facing the front street.The room was small but adequate with a good quality beds.Flat screen tv was good and there is a small fridge in wardrobe as well as a safe.the staff on the whole seemed very good and friendly.The breakfast is not as good as some Best Western hotels but was adequate.New single coffee makers in the rooms but old coffee filter not meant for these machines,.Sure they will figure it out.Think it is important that you ask for a room with a window.Rooms seemed to be clean although room attendants seem to forget to leave things like plastic glasses,coffee packs etc.On the whole we were happy with the hotel.The rates did seem high considering there are not many amenities.No pool,gym etc but we were here to see NOLA so it was fine.The wifi was excellent and no charge. « less

I only booked this hotel because it was a last minute business trip that happened to be during Jazz Fest week. Everything was either booked or too expensive. So I booked this hotel because the hotel is walking distance to basically everything. This is literally a place to sleep. There is no gym, pool, restaurant, or even a place to sit outside. For the money I wouldn't stay here again when you could stay elsewhere and get other amenities and a WINDOW. That's right- if you don't specifically say you want one you could be stuck in an interior room with no window like me. I basically rented a closet. They built a fake window out of a mirror dressed with curtains which helps you accept your fate but it's not settling knowing there is no window, to me anyway. The staff was very friendly and the beds were comfortable though. Bottom line its OK at best but you can prob do better anywhere else. « less

We heard water running in the middle of the night and early morning. A train went by blowing it's horn in the middle of the night. There were not enough clean towels and we ran out of shampoo. « less
