Stayed here for a recent work trip. Nice large room--even had a little mini kitchenette, which I didn't use--and clean. Wifi not very good: was spotty in the room. Front desk was helpful; breakfast was quite bland (the usual waffle machine and not much beyond). Good location; right next to subway station. I didn't really notice any traffic noise (beyond what is in a city) but there was a wedding party of some sort in the hotel my second night that was spectacularly loud even though their door was closed. « less

The best thing about this hotel is its location and guest room. It is convenient to access public transportation and Piedmont Park, and other dining and recreation places. The rooms are spacious and clean. One of the down side is also about location: it's noisy because it sits just beside I-75. We could hear the traffic noise all night long, although the hotel already gave us a room at the farthest end to I-75 (thanks to them). So be careful if you are sensitive to noises. Another issue is that the speed of wifi is miserable. And even though the staff have done all their jobs, I could tell they were just doing their jobs. « less

Wonderful moments of our USA trip are incomplete, if I don't share the experience of this hotel. It is a lovely hotel, perfectly designed for a luxurious stay. Property is very well appointed with all the facilities and beautifully decorated. Rooms, kitchen, lobby, washroom, stairs, every place was immaculately clean. Bed was not too big, but was comfortable. Washroom was good and I had a great shower. Breakfast was awesome and had a large selection. I will love to recommend it. « less

Wife and I have just returned from a fabulous 5 night stay at the regency Suites! Arrived on a Friday at 2.30pm and our room was ready! Sharon at the front desk was very sweet and bubbly and happy to have us there. Our room on the 8th floor was large enough for our 5 night stay and has a small kitchen area with fridge, sink etc. The bathroom, in typical USA style has a separate shower/toilet room and there is a large area outside the bathroom with a sink and marble countertop for when the wife has to get ready!! The room during the night was reasonably quiet although you could hear some early morning traffic on West peach tree street. You could hear clearly the closing of other room doors when people were leaving their room.
Before we even arrived, Angela and Brenadette (GM) help arranged for us to play a round of golf at Bobby Jones Golf Course, their efforts on our behalf were amazing!! The free wi-fi is very fast and has a strong signal strength!! The free continental breakfast looked ok ( i didn't try but the wife did) and the staff were helpful. Starbucks coffee is available 24/7 and is also free!! For smokers, there is a nice little patio outside the front door where you can sit in the afternoon sun!! The location is great, right next to Midtown MARTA train/bus station, about 30 second walk!! From the hotel you can walk to Piedmont park area within 15 minutes. There is also a Publix grocery store within a 2 minute walk around the corner. many restaurants also within a few blocks, we walked every night we were there with no problems at all!!!!! Some restaurants nearby to note: Marlowes (OK), Vortex (brilliant!), 1 1st pub (You can smoke inside!), Veni Vidi Vici (expensive but good), Takorea ( brilliant!) plus quite a few more we didn't try. We have stayed in many hotels in different countries and we would rate this hotel highly! We think that midtown is a great base area and this hotel should suit many peoples needs. Past reviews have mentioned parking fees at $18 a night, In Canada it is more like $35 a night!! This area is are and a very young vibrant community lives here, go and enjoy Atlanta as much as we did!! « less
