The Bishops House is situated in the centre of Prague Municipal Historical Conservation Area-in Lesser Town, right under the Prague Castle and a few steps from Charles Bridge.
The appearance of the house, today called according to its historical origin „The Bishop's House”, emanates from 1843, when the reconstruction of the 16th century semblance was finished after six years of work.The most recent and complete reconstruction of the building was finished in 1999. Behind the Empire facade, guests can find both comfort and genuine remnants of the past.
The hotel offers the accommodation in single, double rooms or triple rooms. The extra bed or baby crib are available. The rooms are ensuite (shower or bathtub) and equipped with minibar, safe, phone and TV via Sat.

This is a lovely hotel in a good central location. It is very comfortable and clean with spacious rooms and big bathrooms. The reception staff are helpful and there is someone there 24hrs. There is a lift as well which is convenient after a long day of walking around beautiful Prague. Our stay was very enjoyable. One criticism - although there is a good choice of hot/ cold breakfast buffet, the coffee could be improved - it is from a machine ( so like instant coffee). We do like freshly made, strong coffee first thing in the morning! « less

The only point for me was the coffe which was not too good. But very close by, you can get an "expresso ristretto" (almost like in Italy) I recomment this hotel « less

I have just returned from beautiful Prague after a perfect stay in this hotel. The hotel is very close to Charles’ bridge and walking distance from the Old Town and the Castle area. It has a friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean, breakfast was excellent. I would recomand this hotel and hope to come back here with pleasure. « less

Perfect location, a stones throw from the bridge yet in a very quiet side street. The only bad point was our room being on the top floor in the roof of the building, which meant that we couldn't stand up in the shower due to the low sloping ceiling! Breakfast is basic but not bad considering what we paid for the hotel. Would definitely stay here again but not on the 4th floor. Very friendly staff. « less

Hotel Bishop´s House is located directly in the heart of the historical centre of Prague. It lies only 60 metres far from the Charles Bridge, River Vltava, enchanting island of Kampa, and in the vicinity of the Old Square and the Prague Castle.
The main hotel building was built in the 16th century and has empire facade from 1843. The guests can also choose accommodation in a tower of the former seat of the bishop, which was mentioned already in the 13th century.
The hotel strives for the continuous improvement of the quality of the accommodation it offers.
