Like most Hamptons, this one is clean and the staff is friendly. I usually travel to Arizona where the first thing you do is turn on the AC in the room, so it was a little weird to walk into the room with the heat turned on. But I liked that the air was on, since many hotels save the cost by letting you adjust it yourself when you arrive.
It was a little weirder to have the heat on in the fitness center had heat on, particularly since it was blowing right onto whomever was on the treadmill. The equipment in the fitness center was decent: elliptical, bike, treadmill, stairclimber, and adjustable free weights. Towels, but no water. TV. The treadmill had no where to set a magazine or book. The room had a glass wall out to the small pool.
Breakfast was standard HI fare - cheese omelet, biscuits with gravy, cereal, fruit. « less

The lobby is being remodeled so the breakfast was moved to a conference room which was better as it seemed quieter so you could hear the news on the TV. The breakfast buffet was very good. Every time I stay at this hotel (2x a year) I am blown away by the friendliness and helpfulness from the staff. When all of the luggage carts were unavailable, staff helped me and my disabled mother carry in all of our luggage (2 trips). When my in-phone GPS didn't work, they quickly printed out MapQuest directions for me so I could get where I was going. And it is the only hotel in the area that accepts pets, for which I am very grateful. Very clean hotel (guests with pets, please pick up after your pets so they will keep it this way!) « less
