The hotel has a great location, just minutes away from Acropolys Museum and from Acropolis itself. I would recommend to book a room with view on Acropoli, much quiter and spectacular. The room and the bathroom are quite small and not extremely clean. The carpet needs to be changed and the bathroom is so small that a shower could be a better option instead of a big tub. Overall, the hotel as very good reception employers, very friendly and helpful. « less

This hotel was such a great location!! An easy walk to all the tourist sites and metro. They first gave us a room with no view, but when my husband asked to be moved they were very polite and moved us to the 3rd floor with a fantastic view of the Acropolis. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms very clean. The breakfast is wonderful, esp if you like big American style breakfast. It's a good hotel for Americans in general because of all the amenities. I also like the later check-out of 12pm. « less

We picked this hotel from the internet and it was a great choice. We requested a room with a balcony, view of the Acropolis and a king size bed and we got all three. The location of this hotel is perfect - just a block away from the new Acropolis Museum, close to subway station and a very short walk to the Acropolis itself. The most amazing thing - lying in bed at night looking out at the Acropolis bathed in light as we fell asleep- surreal.
Also had a very cozy bar and restaurant and a roof top terrace which was great for winding down with a glass of wine at the end of a long day and, you guessed it, looking at the Acropolis. There were 2 small hot tubs that we did not use but was a nice addition especially with the view.
My partner's bag did not make it to Athens when we arrived from Rome so when we asked the front desk if they had complimentary razors or toothbrushes they said they did not. Having a few of those things on hand might be a good idea.
The only other thing that could have been a problem was that they did not have an iron that one could use - pressing had to be sent out for a charge so that would have been a bit of a crisis for me with all the bits and pieces that I press after hauling out of the luggage. At first I thought my travel iron was in the bag that hadn't arrived yet but fortunately it was in one of the other bags so that saved the day.
Other than that the front desk was great, the room was a nice size as was the bathroom and everything was spotless. A hardy enough breakfast was included. So we were very happy with this choice and wouldn't hesitate to go back there or recommend it to others. « less

We (10 people ages 16-78 years old) booked 5 rooms for 4 night including breakfast. The hotel arrange for us a transfer from the airpot to the hotel for 110 euro. The hotel was magnificent !! the staff was helpful & kindful, the rooms was very nice and clean and had very good smell. The loby was very nice and clean, we set and drink coffe . The breakfast was amazing and included - eggs (scrambeld, hardboiled, & fried), baycon, tomato, 2 type off sausages, 3 type off chees, roll & bread, cornflakes, 4 types off jam, juice & coffe. The hotel have a resturant (for the evning) with great food, and on the roof ther is a jacuzi with a great view to Acropolis. We (family of three with teenage son) just booked this as our last night after a week-long visit to all of the ancient-Greek sites across the Pelopponesos peninsula. To be honest, I did not expect too much, judging from the price - boy, was I ever wrong!
The hotel extends a warm welcome to guests, carrying our luggage up the stairs and accomplishing the check-in with a minimum of fuss and we were up in our room within 5 minutes flat (highly appreciated after an exhausting day of driving). The room was well-furnished, be it a tiny bit cramped for 3 people but it was comfortable with great beds and a nice shower.
Small note of criticism: as in many hotels, there is no way to take a shower without absolutely flooding the place leaving us to mop up the floor with towels. When I asked for new ones, they were brought up within 5 minutes. Service with a smile and fast as well.
The fact that room service was fast and good was experienced later in the evening by my wife when a fresh pot of tea was whisked up to the room in 4 minutes at under Euro4 cost. No frills, top service and great quality!
We enjoyed the roof garden with a spectacular view of the Acropolis and the staff was extremely friendly and cooperative the next day with storing our luggage conveniently for the whole day as our flight only left in the evening.
Breakfast was just absolutely super! Any hotel that offers freshly squeezed orange juice to its guest automatically gets 10 out of 10 from me.
All-in-all, the smiles, the quality of the offerings, the service, the price, the location ... I can't imagine you can do better anywhere in Athens! « less
