This hotel is in desperate need of a renovation and general updating. In a non smoking room the carpet had burn holes, as well as the blankets on the bed. The walls looked dirty and so did the floors. In the bathroom, the towel rack was bent and broken and the towels were so thin that once wet, they were translucent. The shower area had holes from what looked like a previous shower curtain that were never plugged/filled when a repair was made. As for the pool, it was closed, but looked very small.
The hotel served a very basic breakfast which included a waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, basic bread/bagels and some type of formed/pre-made egg product. Overall simple breakfast, I stuck with the waffles which were tasty.
I feel for the money, I could have found a better place. I don't need much but I got the feeling that the place was not maintained well and that they cut corners whenever possible.
For the same price as the Suffolk, Va., Days Inn, this was a much better stay. Large room off the pool area with huge bath, garden tub and separate shower....

Carpet was old and worn and stained. Ice machine on our floor didn't work. The TV remote control appeared to be new, but didn't work. Other than supplying new batteries, front desk made no effort to correct the issue. I think for Days Inn this is considered average? « less

I had the following +ve experiences from top down... 1) Front desk personel attended to my requests when I had any.... 2) House keeping took care of my room on a daily based. 3) Hardly had any maintenance issue ... They were minor indeed ..... Resolved.... 4) The dining area was always stocked properly every morning 5) Excellent Location convenient to Downtown Savannah

If you are 20 years old and want to party this hotel is fine but the noise, the blasting music , people running over head , jumping up and down on the floors..forget a night sleep. Plus I was terribly worried that my car would be vandalised. They blasted the music again at 8:am so forget sleeping in. I will save my money and stay at a pricier downtown hotel next time. « less

The hotel is very old and worn. Very tired and sad looking. And we were too after one night here. Maybe could have stood the shape of the hotel for the money, but the college kids out partying until 5 a.m. was the worst. No sleep for me with the yelling and throwing things in the pool. What a nightmare.
We did not try the breakfast as we had other plans. The management was irritated over the behavior on the property, but she was unable to handle the situation. And of course, we were not offered any type of refund or discount on the stay.
DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL........YOU WILL REGRET IT! « less
