Hampton Inn Indianapolis-Downtown is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis in the historic Chesapeake Building, constructed in 1929 as headquarters for the Big Four Railroad. Directly across from Circle Centre Mall, the hotel is within walking distance to over 30 downtown restaurants, Conseco Field House, RCA Dome and Indiana Convention Center. Other area attractions include historical landmarks, museums, ice skating, medical centers, auto racing, and the Museum of Art, a 152-acre park/botanical garden 5 miles north of the hotel. We feature 9-stories with 180 rooms, including two-room suites and king whirlpool rooms, 9' painted crown mold ceilings and a rich traditional décor throughout the hotel. Our exercise room is equipped with stair stepper, treadmill, and aerodyne bikes and universal weight system. We also feature a Hospitality/Conference room with Murphy pull down bed. We have 5 meeting rooms with the largest accommodating 80 people classroom and a Business Center on the 2nd floor offering copy, fax ,PC workstation with high speed internet access and printer services. Amenities include complimentary "On the House" hot breakfast bar served in the 2nd floor Cheasapeake Room (6am-10am), coffee service available 24 hours a day, free USA Today newspaper,high speed internet access and local phone calls with no long distance credit card access fees. Our rooms are equipped with coffee maker and iron/ironing board. We also offer voice mail, computer data ports, video checkout, and 25' cable TV with Pay-Movies, Nintendo, HBO, lap desks and clock/radios. Laundry/valet services, meeting/banquet facilities, audio visual equipment and valet parking are available for a nominal fee.
