Althought the hotel does not offer any 'bereavement deals' they did extend our AARP discount to all family members who had to travel from out of town for my mothers funeral. The hotel was clean. The staff was freindly and compassionate. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of items to choose from. I would stay here again whenever I visit Nacogdoches. « less

We decided to stay at this hotel because we had tickets to the Messiah at SFA. We dropped our stuff in the room and had to run an errand before showering for the concert. The door would not lock! We had to call the front desk up to move our room. The woman desk clerk told me the room locks and it still didn't lock when she started to go down the hall. I called her back and I was getting agitated. She told me I was making way too much out of this situation. Trust me, we had tickets and I wasn't going to miss the Messiah. She didn't comprehend the urgency of the situation as we were limited on time. I wasn't making too much out of it. We moved into a second room, and the door on that room didn't lock either. I sent my husband downstairs to round up a desk clerk and the guy came up with him. By the time they got up there, I tried sticking my key in the slot and removing it and that reset the lock. It wasted all of our time, though, and we didn't get to shower because we had to be at the auditorium early to get a good parking spot because of my recently broken foot. I was a bit angry about this and it was even worse when the auditorium was stifling hot and I was sweating bullets in my good suit. I would have felt much better had I been able to shower before going. I'm not happy, COMFORT SUITES. You won't be getting our business again, even though the room was OK and the breakfast was good for a change. Sorry! Also, you need to tell your front desk clerk not to make comments like that at people when they are panicking about being late. I was really angry with her. She's very lucky I held my temper. I don't need to be told how to handle by situation by some young twit. « less

Wow, where do I begin? I always read reviews on tripadvisor prior to booking my hotel reservations at any hotel. I have came to believe that some people must just sit around and make up things because, this hotel was absolutely fantastic! I stayed at another property that had the best reviews and was ranked number one but had horrible service, rooms, and food when I visisted on several occassions.. So I really believe you should call the hotel and get a feel on the clerks attitude. If they are superb, 9 times out of 10 their service, rooms, and foods will be too, but thats just based on the experiences Ive had. STAY HERE!!! They have a full hot breakfast, and happy hour on a few night a week. I will definitely make this my new choice of stay EVERY time I visit Nacogdoches going forward. One of the manager's really really took her time to get to know us and made us feel like we were her priority. Great service! « less

"Everything went great. The hotel and it's Management anticipated our every wish and took care of us. It went so well that I have booked our conference there for next year. I have passed the web site on to others and will continue to do so. The Machinist Union is always setting up events all over the world, and I will continue to pass this information on to my brothers and sisters." S.C. - Biloxi, MS
