We stayed here for 4 nights on our first visit to San Francisco this month. This hotel is situated just behind City Hall making it,s location excellent. Checking in was simple and quick, we had booked through Expedia. We were asked to take a seat whilst our room was checked and a short wait later we were in our room. Other reviews have stated the rooms are small but we found no problems with ours, good facilities, fridge, microwave, coffee maker etc. The quality of the furniture and fittings shines through. Just after we got into our room we had a call from reception just to welcome us again and check everything was Ok, nice touch. Breakfast is included and was fresh and with plenty of choice was excellent, staff attentive but not overly so. We did,nt use the resturant at night times but it was always busy with people going to the theatre so I suggest you book if you want to eat there. We spoke to the General Manager who gave us advice on getting around San Francisco, bus pass etc. every member of staff was friendly and polite. Not far from the hotel is the Hayes district with plenty of resturants for an evening meal. Checking out was very simple and a Taxi arranged to take us to the airport for our flight to LA, the company they used arrived quickly and the service was excellent. Overall a good quality hotel, excellent value for money that we would use again. « less

My wife & I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and couldn't have been happier. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning was filling and had a good selection of food. The location was very handy. There were restaurants withing walking distance and there were enough bus lines going through the area that we could get to anywhere else in the city. The room we had was very comfy & clean.
Next time we visit San Francisco we will be staying here. « less
