Stayed here for the BMX National May 10-12. Only about 3 miles from the track. Location was great. Cool it was next to a mall. Also had plenty of restaurants around.
Amanda and Geneva were great at the front desk and during the kick back. Those 2 really made the stay pleasant.
Had stayed in Drurys before, but first time at this one. Breakfast hours should really be the same every day of the week. Was a bit annoying since breakfast ended at 9:30 a.m. on Friday and I didn't need to get to the track until 2. And had got in about 1 a.m. Wish breakfast had stayed open until 11. Ended up having to skip breakfast as was tired. Also, Sundays race started at 8 and with breakfast starting at 7, again had to skip. So only got breakfast 1 out of 3 days.
The room was good. Although didn't sleep as well as I had hoped. Not sure if it was the beds, or the pillows. I am thinking it was the pillows for some reason as the bed seemed pretty good. Wished I had brought my own pillow, but forgot it.
Could hear traffic a little more than I would have liked as well. Maybe the mall side is better and a little quieter.
All in all, a good hotel, but didn't get as much rest as I would have liked.
Mimi's cafe is across the street and there is plenty of shopping and restaurants around.
Was nice they had popcorn still when I arrived late at night. It goes until 10, which is cool. And they made more popcorn one of the days when I mentioned it was out. So that was nice too. The kickback meals were good. Did enjoy those 2 nights :-) And they drinks. Very good margaritas and bloody marys. « less

Throughout my many travels, my recent stay at Drury Northlake is definitely within my top 5. Primarily because it can be difficult to find great customer service these days. I stayed at the hotel a few days as a get away to get some rest and had the awesome pleasure of being checked in by the amazing receptionist Mia. Mia assisted me a few times during my stay. I also had the opportunity to meet the wonderful Audrey N the day I checked in who took the time to make me feel right at home. As a special treat the evening kickback reception with drinks and food was right on time because I didn't have the leave the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spotless. There is no doubt that I will stay at this hotel again!! « less

Where do I begin to start this review? Although I've only stayed at this Drury and the one down the road, I've ALWAYS been satisfied with their hotels. Everything is always clean, whether it be the room, the breakfast/kickback area, the pool, lobby, and even the elevators. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are VERY quiet.
The staff are extremely friendly as well, especially Amanda (I believe her name was), and the nice young lady who works overnights. I was always greeted when I came through the lobby, smiles a plenty.
Even with it being a bit chilly, I was very pleased to know that the pool was warm enough for swimming, and that you wouldn't freeze to death in there. « less

After arriving with our small dog and checking in we went to the free cocktail and snack buffet. The place appeared to be brand new. We enjoyed our drinks and went out for dinner at the mall across the parking lot. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The bed had an assortment of pillows and the sheets were comfortable. If I could find one thing wrong with this place it would be that the towels were a bit thin. The room was quiet and we slept well. Breakfast in the morning was better than most chain hotels with hot and cold food. I have stayed at 5 star hotels that were not as clean as this Drury Inn. We are planning a rode trip through the south and I will choose Drury Inn over other chains. This hotel is 6 years old! You would never know it. « less

We stay here every year while we attend the Wells Fargo Golf Championship. It is always amazing. Great staff, clean rooms, safe and convenient location, just about perfect. We love this chain of hotels but this remains as one of the tops in this chain! No complaints. « less
