The hotel appeared to be a little older in age, but was very clean. Marble tile floors in the lobby. I was greeted by the front desk agent, who was extremely nice and accommodating. The lobby was not overly spacious but offered several tables and chairs for breakfast. The Drury serves complimentary breakfast, and an evening manager’s reception, daily at no additional charge to guests. The atrium lobby was pretty and had wood and wrought iron railings on each floor. The meeting room was just past the front desk and can accommodate up to 50 people. The exposed wall brick gave the room an ornate feel. They had a very large built in white erase board with pull down screen. The guest room was a standard size, and offers refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side, and the linens were nice. The hotel will begin a full renovation just following the New Year so this will be a great plus to the hotel. Located in the University of North Carolina Charlotte Campus area, there are many restaurants and shopping nearby and within walking distance. TGI Friday’s sits adjacent to the hotel in the same parking lot. The swimming pool is an indoor/outdoor pool. This hotel has received very good customer reviews, and will really be an awesome property once renovations are completed. Drury inn & Suites always deliver.

Cats and dogs are accepted at all Drury Hotels if state and local laws permit. Pets are not allowed in the public gathering areas of the hotel, including the breakfast area and pool. Pets are not to be left unattended for more than 30 minutes, and each guest must assume liability for damage of property or other guest complaints. There is a limit of two pets per room. Dogs, for persons with disabilities, are accepted and permitted access to any area frequented by their owners. No state or local laws concerning dogs apply to guide dogs. Guest will be asked to read and sign our "Pet Owner Letter" at check in. Rooms with pets will be charged a daily cleaning fee of $10 per room plus tax. Service animals are welcome free of charge.
