SHERATON COMMANDER HOTEL

The Sheraton Commander is the premier hotel in Harvard Square. Built in 1927 it is a historic property with a story to tell. John F. Kennedy announced his run for presidency in our George Washington Ballroom. Named after our first Commander, George Washington, in honor of Cambridge's connection to the inspection of the troops in Cambridge Common. The hotel is a tribute to our history and grandeur.
