On our way back from the beach we ran into a huge traffic jam on 65 of Montgomery. We were stuck in traffic for two hours from Montgomery to Prattville. I asked my daughter to call some Hotels in the area because we had it with the traffic. She called several and got no answer. She called Home Towne Suites and talked with a very sweet lady who made us a reservation for one night and even stayed on the phone with us until we found the property. When we arrived, Alecka greeted us with a great smile and hello. We reserved a room with two beds, which I think she called a queen and twin room. But, when she saw that it was my husband, myself, two daughters and our granddaughter she immediatley said that she wasn't going to let us stay in that room and upgraded us to a King room with two twin beds at no extra charge! What a great surprise! She was so sweet and kind and explained to us everything about the property as well as the after hours procedures. The room was wonderful, and the beds were comfortable. It does need so upgrades, but it was so clean you can look past all that. We even ran into the housekeeper while loading the car up the next morning and she was also very nice. If we ever get stuck in traffic again in Prattville, we will surely stay here again! « less

The clerk who checked us in, Ashley, was the nicest, most patient, and most helpful hotel clerk I have ever interacted with. That's the best thing I can say about this property, and she is the reason I really wanted to like it. The good things I can say about our room: The bed was comfortable, the linens were of fairly good quality, and the towels were thick. It was very quiet here. We didn't hear any other guests or any traffic. We saw no bugs. But our room was very tired, worn, shabby, and dated. It's hard to know for sure if it was clean because everything was so dingy and stained. The carpet was especially stained, and I would never have walked barefoot on it or even in my sock feet. It was overpriced for what we got...not a good value at all. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again, and I'm sorry to have to say that. « less

Great location easy access to the interstate and there is a lot of things to do close by. I highly recommend this location and plan to stay there again. « less

So, this is an extended stay type of hotel or home away from home apartment. Don't expect hotel type service! The bedding isn't made or changed, they do provide towel service and trash pick up twice a week. They have a Tuesday social where you can meet other guests and have some pizza and drinks (food changes every wee), nice get together provided by the hotel. Rooms need some updating and work on them and a good decorator wouldn't hurt too. The company does need to visit a few high end hotels to take some notes on the excellent style of service they provide their guests; learn from those and bring some of those ideas back to their company. Little things could help improve the service they provide without costing much if any money. Got a good rate so stayed here. Found out the reason for the good rate though, water was off most of the time during the day while they replaced water tanks. No notice given (one way to provide good service is communication). Good place to stay if you don't want any frills, little service and peace and quite. Pool area O.K., broken light and no tables by lounge chairs. Office staff very nice and helpful, after 9pm your on your own - they close. Would not have paid the full price but for $64.00 a night ( a 30% savings) it worked. « less

We apologize for the inconvenience to you and our other guests during our recent unexpected emergency water outage. During the couple of hours the water was off we repaired the damage and made every attempt to notify all guests of the situation by both phone and by knocking on guest room doors. We thank you for your understanding that unforseen emergencies do sometimes occur and for your patience as we made the repairs.
As an extended stay hotel, we provide guests staying longer than a week with one weekly light housekeeping service and one full housekeeping service in which all the linens are changed. Detailed descriptions of housekeeping services and when you will receive them are provided at check-in.
While our office does close overnight, someone from our staff is always on call to handle any needs that may arise during the night. The person on call may be reached by dialing the office from any hotel phone. Guests anticipating a late arrival are advised of after hours check-in procedures prior to their arrival.

I recently stay in HOME TOWNE for a week where I spent a pleasant time. The room has enough amenities to make it a great extended stay in it. Miss Abigail Wright, who is the person at the front desk, was so caring and helpful toward all my needs always with a big smile. Grocery stores and downtown is so close from here. I really did feel myself in home and happy. I definitely recommend HOME TOWNE and I gladly will stay in it my next visit at Prattville. « less
