We have stayed at this Motel many times. On 12/15/12 we had a really nice room with a bathtub and shower.That room was without reservations and it cost us 68.25. The room was cold when we got there but warmed up nicely. Our most recent stay on 12/21/12 was a bit of a disappointment.I had reserved the room 1 month in advance so they knew we were coming. The room was cold, the shower was a little cut out in the wall and the water was luke warm on the hottest setting. We told the manager and he said he would have someone look into it. This room was booked a month ahead of time and with a internet discount cost 58.91. The Beds are very comfortable. We stay at this Motel because it is close to family members when we come to visit. Not sure if it is better to reserve it or just show up??? « less

Chose the motel for it's location relative to our holiday events with family and reasonable price. Hadn't stayed in a HoJo for many years but prior stays were positive. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was a distaster - shower curtain ready to fall off the wall. Tub had mold in corners and badly needed to be caulked. Front door didn't seal on bottom jam so dirt, bugs, noise, and light were coming in. The worst part - the dark blue carpet appeard to be newer, but obviosly hadn't been shampooed in months, turning our feet and socks black, so had to wear shoes. Getting out of the shower with wet feet made for black foot prints on the bath floor... disgusting. I would suggest HoJo do a better job selecting properties for their branding, and reinspecting them regularly. If this property is sufficient in their eyes, I woud then know to avoid HoJo from now on. I'd suggest staying at the Microtel Inn just down the street for only a few dollars more. « less

It's quiet, the rooms are large, and the beds are just what you need after really hard day working in and around the area. I used to stay up in Salida for business, but this is my property of choice when i am in the area. « less

The staff was very nice, both on the phone and in person. We checked in very late and left early in the morning. The floor in the room had not been vacuumed. The beds were made and all of the towels replaced, but the counter outside the bathroom had hair and fingernail clippings...very unpleasant. The shower water pressure was low. « less

Good room for the price. The room was nice. Beds were comfortable and slept well. A/C worked well. Room had a refrigerator which was nice to have. Shower nozzle was too low and toilet was a little loose. The motel grounds were nice but lacked a bit on appearance. Overall, I feel that it was a good bargain. I will consider staying here again. « less
