My wife and I stayed here on the front and back end of a trip to Puerto Rico when flying in and out of Orlando which included arriving late at night and flying out very early in the morning. The great thing is they have an airport shuttle 24/7 and are located fairly close to the airport. The accommodations are more than adequate with clean spacious rooms and flat screen tv's. It was also very quiet when we stayed there. The breakfast furnished met our needs including selections for the health conscious and a more hearty version. In the evenings there's also dinner salads, fresh deli sandwiches and pizza available along with a mini bar. Front desk staff was also friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again if/when flying into or out of Orlando. « less

When checking in I was asked for a credit card for Incidentals. I told her that I was not order anything or buy anything, But she insisted order to check in that I give her a credit card and that nothing would be billed to the card. This morning when I checked my credit card bank statement, the exact amount on there that was billed to my credit card and there was the same amount was built to Corporate Lodging card. When I checked out this morning they would not give me a receipt because it was on the Corporate Lodging card, I called Corporate Lodging and on the speakerphone they said it was okay to have a receipt she still denied a receipt. This hotel also has a ATM machine in the lobby that works on a billable rate the more you take out the more The ATM charges. I have informed Quality Inn Corporate office of this matter and my disappointment. This will be the last time I Stay there. « less

This place is the pits! Booked for 4 nights..Had a smoking room, which typically will have some old smoke smell, but, I can't even describe how awful the smell was! It was so bad we actually went to Wal-mart and bought an air freshner! The pull out sofa was disgusting! Our bathroom smelled like urine the entire time..The beds were very uncomfortable, sheets had stains..My son unfortunately had wet the bed and I called the front desk in the morning and let them know so the maid could change them..We got back from Universal that night and she had just made the beds, never changed the sheets..I called immediately for clean sheets and bedding and had to wait 30 mins to get it..Last night we were there, they cleaned our room and left us with no toilet paper..You couldn't even get in to eat breakfast in the morning..The last night we were there a lady with her 6 kids tried busting down the door only to figure out they had the wrong room..Just an awful experience..Difficult to get to even though its close to the airport.. « less

We booked a block of 14 rooms that were all non smoking and 3 people were forced to take smoking rooms. Mona the manager was unaccomadating. The upside is the shuttle service from Quality Inn to Port Cavernal was reasonably priced. « less

March 24, 2013, I had an unexpected lay over in Orlando, due to the airport being shut down as result of a storm. I was among many people searching for over night accommodations. I was happy to find that the Quality inn could give me a room. The desk clerk, Elaine, was extremely helpful on the airport phone in giving me directions to the correct shuttle. When I arrived to the motel it took only a short time before I got checked into my room. All of this to the credit of the desk clerk, Elaine. Here's where my experience turns sour. My room smelled and tasted of old, sour, tobacco smoke. I cannot believe that you still allow people to smoke in your rooms!! You are in Florida, average temp. 65F to 75F. Surely your patrons can smoke outside. There was no fragrance of cleaners or air fresheners. My carpet was worn and torn. Your pillows are Dollar Store quality and only a few lights worked. I needed to make a phone call but my phone didn't work...went to the front desk and Elaine said she would look into it. I waited 20 minutes...still no phone...back to front desk where Elaine tried my number again and it appeared to be working. After my forth time to see Elaine, who by the way, was so busy booking rooms for people, allowed me to use the front desk phone for my call. It was a long distance call, so she sold me a $5.00 calling card, for which I was grateful. She finally had time to call a custodian to see about my phone. He was fairly prompt in getting a working phone to my room. I checked in at 7:00pm and finally got a phone just before 11:00. The only good part of my stay was Elaine , who at all times remained composed, professional, helpful and compassionate to my woos. She deserves a medal and a raise for her efforts in dealing with a rundown smelly motel. « less
