My friends and I stayed here for New Year's and they were great at being able to offer a group of us a good deal for our stay. The other bonus is that they're pet friendly which is awesome.
The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. Customer service was good. The only fallback is that they are pretty far from the main part of town but we were still able to walk to town and when the trolley is in service, the stop isn't far from the hotel.
I would stay here again for another short stop into Ojai. « less

My family and I stayed here for one night after we evacuated from the Camarillo Springs fires in Southern California. We just wanted a place to stay where the air was clean. When I called Casa Ojai and explained the reason for our visit, they offered the discounted AAA rate, even though we were not AAA members. They had a room with two queen beds that accommodated two adults and two children. The property looks like a 2-story motel from the outside, but the rooms on the inside look more like a hotel room. They were nicely decorated. A nice touch was their having cookies in a jar at the front desk to enjoy upon arrival. The pool was nice and at a nice temperature for my children and me to enjoy. Breakfast was included, though I was a little disappointed by the offerings and the quality of food. But for my children it was sufficient. Our room was close to the road, which made it possible to hear traffic passing by more easily than rooms further away. Overall, a positive stay. « less

Although I've stayed several nights in Ojai at other places (all were booked by others with whom I was traveling), it was nice to add this Inn to the repertoire. Once again, my traveling companion booked this and I was certainly a beneficiary! We were greeted with a pleasant exchange at the front desk and given a room that was clean and comfortable. The word comfortable, if you could put an exponent on it, describes the mattresses--they afforded us three great nights of sleep. The place is quiet, the breakfast buffet gave us a choice of oatmeal, breads, fruit, cereal, yogurt (although the "light" kind only--not my first choice), tea, coffee and juice. When I return to Ojai, I would certainly want to stay here overnight again. « less

From LAX
Exiting the airport, turn right onto N. Hollywood Way for 3 miles. Turn right onto W. Alameda Avenue briefly. Merge onto CA-134 West and follow for less than 2 miles. Take the US-101 North toward Ventura for 57 miles. Merge onto CA-33 North to Ojai. Take Highway 33, 14 miles north to Ojai passing through the communities of Casitas Springs and Oak View. Highway 33 becomes West Ojai Avenue / Highway 150. Follow 1 ½ mile past the Ojai village and just past Golden West Ave. look for the Best Western Casa Ojai sign and turn left into the parking lot under our guest reservation and loading area under the office Portachere.
