The Hampton Inn doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a five star hotel, but if you're looking for an inexpensive hotel that is clean, newly renovated, comfortable, quiet, with great complimentary breakfast and friendly staff, you can't beat the Hampton Inn in Cambridge. It's also right across the street from Lechmere Station, so super convenient to get to any spot in Cambridge or Boston. I loved my stay and would definitely stay here again. « less

Stayed at this hotel for one night. It was clean, although the carpet in the hallways looked a bit dated. The bed was comfortable. The staff was nice. The location felt a bit sketchy, not much going on at night, right across from a transit station (buses and trains). Breakfast food was adequate. Would I stay here again? I wouldn't request it, but if my company booked me here again, I'd stay. « less

This hotel is hard to see from the road (I passed it by a couple of times before I found it!), but once inside, it is clean, bright and a good place to be for a business traveler. One problem, which is temporary I hope, is that there is outside construction/demolition going on which is noisy. My afternoon nap after a long day traveling just didn't happen. « less

I stayed at this location 3 nights on business. Many of the front desk staff were very helpful with suggestions on restaurants and arranging cab service. There was no Suite Shop on the property so you better get what you need while you are out.,,,,but make sure it doesn't need to be refrigerated or warmed because you are out of luck. The building is older but nicely redecorated but don't expect a view. The walls are thin. I was put in a room next to someone with a screaming child and I was trying to work to prepare for the next day. I called the front desk to request a room change and was told there were no rooms available. After another 3 minutes of screaming I called the desk again and miraculously I was able to move. I was not offered any assistance with the move and ended up in a small awkwardly shaped room but it was better than the noise. I think the rate was much to high for what I received. As a Hilton Honors member traveling weekly.....this was truly NOT what I am accustomed to. By the way, a computer and a printer on a desk in the hallway by the bathroom is NOT a business center. I won't stay here again. « less

I was here for business within walking distance; but with the Metro station (Lechmere) practically across the street, it is convenient for exploring the rest of the Cambridge/Boston area as well. The hotel was clean, comfortable, with helpful staff and an excellent hot and cold complimentary breakfast. If your wallet can afford it, I highly recommend this hotel! « less
