Step into a true boutique gem . . . the lobby is spacious and cozy at the same time. Take advantage of sitting near the fireplace while making your plans for the day or evening. The hotel is in the heart of the Newbury district, so there are many shops and restaurants within strolling distance; yet, you feel like you are nestled away in a very private space. Our room (a double on the fourth floor looking across towards the library) was spacious, decorated with quality textiles, and very quiet. The concierge was helpful when I needed assistance with the computer and printer in a nook of the lobby (she walked me over to the workspace, made sure all was working properly and let me be!) All the staff we encountered were well trained in being pleasant, courteous, and not imperious. We will return, my new favorite hotel! « less

The room was large with plenty of space and was also quite beautiful with an antique fireplace, chandelier and comfy seating area in addition to the two queen size beds. The staff were exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful. They even gave us a welcome basket of snacks, very unexpected and nice. The Irish bar downstairs was a lot of fun. The breakfast was very good although a bit on the pricey side. The location was excellent, right in the middle of everything and close to transportation. We walked almost everywhere in Boston from here, it was so beautiful! We loved our stay here and would definitely choose this hotel again. « less

My wife and I recently had a wonderful stay at the Lenox Hotel. It's located in the heart of the city, near scenic Copley Square. Cody and the employees at the reception counter were especially helpful and did everything they could to make our stay as nice as possible. We stayed in a newly refurbished suite on the top floor, with a fantastic view of the city. Our stay at the Lenox Hotel was a great experience! « less
