Wintergreen is an 11,000 acre resort offering a variety of year round recreational lodging and meeting facilities. Located 3,800 feet high in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, the resort lies 35 miles southwest of Charlottesville and 145 miles southwest of Washington, D.C. Wintergreen borders the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Wintergreen offers approximately 300 villa style accommodations and rental homes ranging in size from studio to 9 bedroom homes. Accommodations include at least kitchenette to a full operational kitchen, comfortable living areas- most with cozy fireplaces and a balcony or deck.
Meeting planners can select just the right sized, custom-equipped space from among our 14 conference rooms and 40,000 total square feet of meeting and exhibit areas. The courtyard, the Blue Ridge Terrace provides a majestic mountain setting for weddings, coffee breaks, cookouts, cocktail parties and other outdoor gatherings.
