This motel was a basic but adequate motel. It was also the most expensive accommodation we stayed in in our 6 weeks touring Canada, but certainly not the best. We paid $152 for a double. Most other comparable motels were $80-$120, so this was way overpriced. The rooms was clean but nothing special. Breakfast for the price was very disappointing, basically just limited cereal, toast and bagels without enough room to sit. « less

Did an overnight here in August of 2012 enroute to the Downeast Maine area. Upon arriving, found the desk reception staff to be prompt, courteous, and nice. Though after getting to the assigned room, found it to be a smoking room (with the smoke smell quite evident) though the reservation was clearly made for a non-smoking room. Returning to the reception desk, a room change to a non-smoking room was asked for as this was originally reserved but was told no other non-smoking rooms were available. Sprayed the room up a bit with air freshener and the like, and got through the night. Other disappointments were that the bed cover and blankets were pock-marked quite a bit with cigarette/cigar burns and the shower curtain was much overdue for a changing (or at least a substantive cleaning).
Having done some price research in advance of the stay, found this lodging to be among the better priced in the area for an overnight, passing-through-the-area stay. Nonetheless, I would have expected better for the price that was paid. « less

The first "non-smoking" room I was put in was anything but, the stale smokey room actually made me sick. How this could be labeled as a non-smoking room was beyond me. The next room I was put in still smelled of smoke but better than the first BUTwas not clean by any means. The bottom of the fridge was dirty with a half empty soda bottle in it. The sheets on the bed were dirty. A greasy substance was smeared on the desk and there was used soap in the shower. No way these things could be missed if this room was even attempted to be cleaned. I travel a lot and tend to be pretty laid back about a little dirt here and there but this room was just plain gross! « less

Management was rude, The fauset of the sink stay open half run, we call and after the manager come to try to fix it, finally without hot water we can use it. The thermostat was out of order , at 68-70°F, we left for dinner when we come back it was about 90° ,i said 90° is not an error. No bedspread on the second bed. Now the breakfast , no bread, two english muffins all wet (Previously freese). Cold coffe. So, like the other review, spend the extra twenty bucks and go somewhere else. « less
